Safe Standing 13:05 - Jun 23 with 774 viewsFredManRave

I had always thought that this issue would be talked about for many a year without anything actually ever being done about it due to Hillsborough, H&S, red tape, protests etc but it would appear that it's being looked into quite seriously now by the Premier League at least.

If it's done properly then, imo, it can only be a good thing for the game and more importantly the supporters.

West Bromwich Albion have told the Premier League they are willing to act as a pilot scheme for safe standing.

The Premier League has written to its 20 clubs asking if they would be interested in taking part in a trial to reintroduce standing sections in their grounds.

"I have written back to the Premier League and told them our position remains that we would be very keen to be involved in a pilot,” said Albion's director of operations Mark Miles.

I've got the Power.
