Good old Barry.......... New Order though. A bit of a multi mix box of sweets them for me. Loads of their stuff is great but a lot of other earlier stuff leaves me cold. Then of course there's World In Motion... 1990 ... God's year.

New Order (sighs wistfully) my favourite band as you lads know. Transformed from doom laden Joy Division via the similarly moody Movement album to the frankly fantastic Technique. Of course they had discovered Acid House and Ecstacy by then. On the way though there was this brilliant understated track that showed they had already changed direction.

Heard this on the car radio earlier - proper proper PWOPA track
Clearly it's been on here once or twice but what the heck - quality and quantity ticks both boxes

Fantastic track - posted that myself a while ago.

Theyre a great ensemble that lot.
Don't know lot about them but I understand they're Geordies and the bird who is lead singer is a big girl with an even bigger voice.

Must look and see if they are on tour at all as I'm sure they'd be good live
