R's v Burton Match Thread 12:04 - Sep 23 with 11453 views | DieByYourSide | It's here, it's matchday. The day when the match takes place. It's QPR, it's Burton they're meeting today in a fixture already being described as Queens Park Rangers vs Burton Albion. It'll be a challenging one and think we might well have to score three to win, although we should hopefully be capable of doing that. #BareBonesXI Smithies Furlong Baptiste Robinson Bidwell Scowen Freeman Manning Wszolek Smith LuaLua COYRS

R's v Burton Match Thread on 15:51 - Sep 23 by BrianMcCarthy | HT. Will have to change something. This game is glacially slow. Sylla doesn't make the ball stick and Smith's introduction means we'll probably go long-ball. The problem is midfield today, I think. We need to get control there somehow. We're missing Luongo. Even Doughty would've done a job here to slow it down and keep possession and force Burton back. Once you've done that you then bring the forwards into the play, fail to do that and who plays up front really doesn't matter. |
God, that was such a sh*t half. Missing luongo immensely. Yeni the ghost a complete passenger so far. I'd bring Manning on for him asap. Whole team look like they don't know what shape we're playing and how we're meant to play. It's all so slow and aimless. We deserve to be behind.

The only problem with that is that Burton don't deserve to be ahead!

R's v Burton Match Thread on 16:01 - Sep 23 with 1744 views | BklynRanger | Some feedback from a friend who's sitting in my seat, he's been a player in his time and not known for sugar coating things: Jack Robinson playing CB poor to average. Alex Baptiste very average. Long ball and slow Jake Bidwell all left foot ok ish... Front two work hard Connor and Jamie but need support Pawel and Luke Freeman and have been disappointing... Yeni Ngbakoto is promising but needs to move the ball a little bit quicker

It sounds like watching the text commentary is the way to go Acton. Thrills, spills, occasional spelling mistakes - this has got it all!

We're gone all traditional and probably the right call. We needed something on the left.

Washington seems to hit too many of those 'just get it on target' shots for my liking.
