....ever played for QPR. I'm afraid to admit this has happened to me on a number of occasions, thought it might be senile dementia, but it's nothing more than sitting at the back of the class and falling asleep.

This would appear to be turning into a "shít explayers" thread (hence the 6 pages) but going back to the idea of players that when you hear mentioned you don't associate with us or had forgotten they ever graced us with their presence I give you two (I think new) more;

Carl Leaburn and Pascual Chimbonda.

Looking to move away from a sh!t ex players thread and offering Leaburn and Chimbonda. Sorry mate they would definitely belong in such a thread, awful both of them.

A few more

Matt Jackson
Fraser Digby
Andrew Davies
Brian Murphy

Having seen one of those games, I'd use the term 'play' very loosely.

I saw Alan Brazil in a pub in Canary Wharf last Friday lunchtime smashing a drink or ten.

BIG lad

Who was the journeyman centre forward we bought in who scored for every club he played for but not for us ? Seem to remember a shot from 30yards hitting the crossbar being the closest he came to scoring for us , can’t remember his name

Paul Jones. To be fair, he was extremely busy in his short time with us.

I don't know about Clive Allen, but I remember thinking he looked mustard after seeing him play.

Next up on the 80s revival bandwagon....Tony Sealey?

Another one from that game was Brian Laws, had the makings of a great centre back until a toe injury finished his career

Didn't he steal a bus or something?

You are thinking of Brian Law, Brian Laws was a Forest player.

Even though he is recent, Yossi Benayoun? If Gary O'Neill hadn't given a tooth for the cause he may well have been in these lists too.

Karl Elsey. Leon Jeanne. A decent player was Jordi Lopez. 10 games 10 years ago under Paolo Sousa. Tidy midfield player. Decent pass on him and useful with a set-piece. I was looking forward to a season or two with Sousa in charge. The man with the orange boat scuppered that.

I have genuinely forgotten name of youth player, scored winner (v Ipswich?) on his debut then sent on loan, initially scored for fun including a hat trick, but never heard of (by me at least!) again?

Help!

Daniel Parejo, a member of the team that beat Villa 1-0 at Villa Park in the cup a few years ago.

I've remembered the player I had forgotten, so he's not eligible for this thread now I guess

Tom Hitchcock!

Is it legitimate to recall Paulo Wanchope. Scored about 7 goals in three reserve games before Houston (contender for one of our worst ever managers) decided he wasn't good enough, and anyway, we already had that great goalscorer Mike Sheron! Seem to recall he then signed for Derby and scored a shed load of goals.
Oh no, I've remembered Mike Sheron.

Just remembered we had DJ Campbell. And Jordon (not) Mutch and Alex McCarthy. Their careers really took off after.

Yes, remember that game well. That was the Gus Ceasar game?

Wasn't the Gus Caesar game the 3-2 home win vs Sunderland in a monsoon?

To this day I have not seen a more shambolic performance, which is really saying something after 27 more years of watching Rangers.

Still, he made the game a nail biting classic and we never looked back that season.

Suffering since 1978.
