No but seriously folks.... You could see we were trying a few things. Sometimes too many things, that not all of the players knew about. But after the fist 15 mins that game was partly about experimentation.
Washington did that thing that he something does where he starts like Messi and finishes like Stefan Moore but he kept working. Lumley's distribution was infinitely better but in a non pressure situation. My battery's dying. Overall 6/10.
'Fugue' me! Not a 'classic' performance but Washington certainly 'instrumental' early on. 'Suite' stuff at times. Maybe a 'prelude' to better times ahead.
That bang on the 'bach' of the head for Baptiste must have 'concerto'!.

Washington seemed to do well by all accounts, first half at least.
Got thoroughly involved, put himself about and certainly not Haydn.
So, if McClaren can get the best out of him, do you think we still need another striker on our Chopin Liszt?
Sometimes LFW just totally throws me with the high-brow banter
Mozart and Schoenberg walked into a pub. Mozart said ‘can you lend me a tenner until I get paid?’. Schoenberg replied ‘sure mate but you’ll have to get me some change, cause I’ve only got 12 notes’.
