Enjoyed the podcast but surprised at the deliberation over whether Steve Morrow was worthy of a "Happy Birthday". One of the worst defenders I've seen at Rangers. Regularly bullied by the opposing striker, slow and not particularly brave. A very limited player. He may well be a nice guy but that doesn't make up for his inadequacies as a Footballer.
Interesting too that Furlong is coming in for a bit of criticism. I think it's fair. Modern football you need your full back to be able to play, get up and down and add an attacking element to your team, I think his distribution hinders us at times. Although he doesn't seem keen on it, he looks suited to a career as a centre back to me where his limitations are not so exposed and his impressive leap and leadership qualities will be appreciated more. |  |
