The new white Hart Lane looks quite impressive, steep stands, close to the pitch and one of the stands even looks like the old shelf.

I use cash 85% of the time. They gave me a a touch card but I think I de-magnetized it by accident.

I like hailing the barmaid with stylish restrained waggling of a £20.

Waving a £20 note won't get you far nowadays

I think by "cashless" Spurs mean you use a contactless debit/credit card or Google Pay/Apple Pay. I don't think they expect punters to buy a prepaid card. It'd suit me personally as I don't carry much cash.

Show me the money

Cash
So many scams with cards
Banks can steal your money, get hacked or go bust.

Why everyone was trying to get their money out in the crash

Cashless is really about tax revenue and credit, so they know where you are spending your money.

This is why I don't get rounds if there is more than 3 and spent a a lot of time making my own crate at Beerwulf.com.

First time you use it have to use pin, if that helps.

Is that so people can avoid the taxman?!

To be honest, I hardly use cash. Having grown up around Portobello Road/Ladbroke Grove in the 70's and 80's and having gone out numerous times on weekends to places like Camden Town, I learned to carry as little on me as possible.
Thankfully I've never been mugged or pick-pocketed but I know many who have.

Now I don't have to worry. Not that I go out much these days but when I do, I just take my card that I have a nominal amount in that account.

Most mugging would be for your phone, or from what I note on my visits to town, two wheeled modes of transportation.

Avoid tax, that’s what I pay accountants for.

No sir, the ‘big government’ / global corporation thing does not settle well with me.

Cheers, I figured that bit out but it stopped working one day. I work with lots of electro magnetic stuff so I'm guessing I fried it.

My experience on the whole comes in a time before mobile phones. It was very much your cash they were after. Maybe your watch, ring, necklace too if there was time.

I hardly ever use Cash these days. Pay contactless for pretty much everything! Where I work we have been cashless for a good few years. All contactless of top up card (mainly contactless for most now)

The other big benefit for the company is no chance of staff theft. Lots of festivals/big clubs are now cashless for that reason, the other being Cash is hugely expensive to transport and bank.

Muggers need to move with the times and accept electronic payments.

Couple of Palace fans I know were there and, barring the result, loved it.
