£3.50 pies on 20:44 - Jul 21 with 3195 views | chalky_ncfc | Why would anyone want to pay £3.50p for an overpriced dry crust of a pie when you could go to that local chippy at 2.30 and get your money's worth, that would fill you up until 5pm surely? Edit How much is one of those rag pies that you northerners go on about? [Post edited 21 Jul 2019 20:50]

Humble pies cost around 16 million quid chalky, although bURY fans never eat them and tend to pay a lot less. I think we should offer 90p per pie at match days.

This will be the third year of this deal, with the club accounts earlier this year showing the impact of the first year of the contract. I don't know about them being "not for profit" but its very easy to have that as a soundbite without backing it up. Both club and VCP have been contacted.
£3.50 pies on 10:20 - Jul 22 with 2554 views | diver | Profit from the pies could buy a scoreboard?
£3.50 pies on 11:21 - Jul 22 with 2465 views | 49thseason | This whole issue is symptomatic of much of what is wrong at the club. The idea that the fans will continue to buy pies irrespective of the price or quality is simply lacking in imagination and foresight and inevitably leads to dissatisfaction. A similar debate will start when people are asked for £20 on the gate. It seems that the prawn sandwich brigade in the boardroom have no concern for the matchday experience of the 2-3000 normal Joes, Janes and their kids who dig deep to watch their local team. The PA system is carp, the club shop opens and closes with the changes in the tides, buying tickets is akin to some sort of guessing game with regard to charges, no charges, fees etc. and the sense we get is that everything is too much trouble (including the "next match" sign. Maybe if the majority of fans were not treated like the proverbial pork pies at the Jewish wedding, there would be more of them, more often spending more money?
