Not quite:
2019/20 all first team games Benfica played 53 Adel started 28, subbed off in 8, injured 7 suspended 1, international duty 1. Also 11 yellow cards and one red.
Goals scored ONE, Assists 3. (although he may play a deeper role these days)
So available for 44 started 28.
This season he has started two games and has missed the last three with injury.
He has rescued a career after years of messing about, being unfit and overweight and missing a lot of football. | | | |

Here's the thing, Adel achieved with us, the one thing we'd love to, take QPR to a title winning situation, in 1 season.
However for someone at that level that should have been the start not in reality the end of his true achievements.
Hes got about, earned a fortune no doubt but really relative to what he ought to have achieved he's let himself down more than anything.

Just one of the many reasons I have so much contempt for the charlatan called Redknapp. Managed well, as Warnock demonstrated admirably, you had a brilliant, but temperamental asset on your hands who could almost win games single handed if you put the right framework around him.
If you had no man management skills and were just an utter chancer who didn't give a toss other than skimming as much off the top for yourself, then inevitably you had problems. |  |

He was our entry ticket to the Premier league and Warnock, Derry , Hill, Orr etc knew it.
They indulged him in exchange for where he could take them . Ale Faurlin was the perfect foil for him , feeding him the ball time and again . after about 10 mins of a game you could tell if the opposition looked likely to target him , if not it was just a matter of time .
However I tired of him spouting off in every interview about how we were just a stop off point for him on his way to Madrid or Munich , never about what he could achieve with us but (probably prompted by an agent ) what he could do for himself.
The 2 goals away at Cardiff a highlight for me, the Fulham bus stop a low .
