It's hardly ever mentioned. But the club was founded by Edward the Confessor as a gift for his wife, and won Ye Olde Anglo Saxon Trophee for 16 years running from 1050.
Then the Normans application to enter the tournament was rejected, they got annoyed, and the rest is history. |  | | |

I found Kindle very useful when my arms were not long enough for me to hold a book far away from me to read with out glasses. Kindle is not great in bright sunlight, but that is rarely a problem in the west of Ireland | | | |
