Excellent piece as always.
Can see Field and Amos being the starters next season (injury dependent) with Carroll the immediate back-up. Think Amos will being the more "attacking" of the two and Field sticking to his previous role. But without Johansen (who I can't see signing unfortunately) Field's quality of passing will shine through and he will be a big player for us.
Austin next then hopefully some depth at Fullback/Wingback and we will be on the way to a very good championship squad. | | | |

Extremely pleased with this as I think he will play the water carrier role but can play a bit basically an upgrade on the comedy stylings of Dom Ball. I'm another that is very pleased with this signing.
I gain the impression that the club will be doing everything possible to secure the signings of Austin & Johansen. Hopefully, it won't be too long before Clive can post his welcome to Rangers thread! It may be July before anything con be concluded for Stefan though as he will not be out of contract.

There are now 6 players for the CM berths: Sam Field, Dominic Ball, Faysal Bettache, Tom Carroll, Luke Amos and Charlie Owens. That might suggest Johansen won't be coming, particularly as Warburton wants a smaller squad. That said, I suppose Bettache and perhaps Owens could go out on loan. |  | | |
