Good test that as first game of the season.
We can see if we can handle a decent team that like to play the physical side of things. If Millwall turn up and we still win, that will be a very good start to the season.

That depends on how many games Sky are showing that weekend.

I would think that Bournemouth - West Brom would be their first choice, but I wouldn't rule out the chance of it being shown.

Other possibilities may be Cardiff - Barnsley, Fulham - 'boro & perhaps Charlton - Wednesday

Not sure I agree about the away games. Bristol, Barnsley, Blackburn, Forest, Preston and Swansea are not places we’ve done very well at in recent times.

While winning the opening fixture is nice, we have recently beaten teams who had good seasons the year before (Nottingham Forest/Reading) and it didn't result in us flying out of the blocks on either occasion. I suggest we neither get carried away with a good start (see Reading last season) of go into the depths of despair with a poor one. It will take 10 games for the season to settle into any sort of pattern, let's see where we are at that stage.

Does anyone have any news on whether away fans will be allowed yet?Even with freedom day supposed to be July 19th,will they really want 1,000’s of people traveling around the country for football matches.
I’m very tempted to book train tickets for Hull and Boro away in August,but if we aren’t allowed to go,I don’t want to be wasting £100+ on train tickets that I have no use for.
