Pinner's run is at an end - Brizzle City Match Thread 00:22 - Sep 18 with 26807 viewsdavman

My go (until we lose a game). Good run, Pinner, but just like any lucky pants or Neil Warnock's shorts, when the run ends, the luck has gone...

I am not gonna lie, I'm worried about this one. Their high press has proven effective for them this season and we can be vulnerable to it.

2-2 with them drawing level late on.

Can we go out yet?

The feudal lords of Bristol city won't fancy the trip to our filthy midden of Serfdom in W12  today.

Even if City manage  to avoid  the black death, dysentery, John of Gaunts lampoons, punitive poll taxes, and most importantly, social demarcation, over the course of the 90 minutes, they still have to  engage the  diminutive form of our very own  Wat Tyler.

Despites Wats's Recent spell  on the sidelines with untreated pox putrification of his genitalia,  the radical ex-roof tiler will take it to the Bristol City  4-4-2 manorialism system, on the front trench foot today.

In summation , Wat to mete out a goal poachers 2nd half brace to keep us in the  mixer for the play-offs, and on course for champions league action in imperialist Bhutan and freeing Muscovy's peasents from debt bondage in east prussia.

I’m uncomfortable with the positivity. It has not bode well ahead of some previous home games.

For balance:

QPR 1 - 2 Bristol City.

Headaches about defensive errors and who should play in midfield alongside Johansen afterwards.

2-0 to the good guys.
Dom Ball to announce his intention to run for milk monitor, unveiling a raft of policies he feels will modernise the post, freeing it from the tyrannical grasp of encumbant Ilias 'Claws of Steel' Chair.

I shall be glueing myself to the floor of the Block F staircase in protest at the club seeking alternative options from the Carlsberg portfolio. I think Wat Tyler would have approved.

1-1 draw after Brizzle take an early lead enabling a festival of football to commence.

This is going to be the game where it all clicks and we give the Wurzels a walloping.

The team will want to bounce back after losing to Keith Stroud's Bournemouth. Plus we are overdue to give some one a hammering.

5-0 to the R's.

'And Wat Tyler's ghost is smiling
As approving he looks on
They haven't really been this angry
Since 1381'

As always, I hope I'm wrong but I think 2-0 Bristol. We need to sink a bit lower before we really hit the good form.

QPR 7 Bristol City 1

No real reason, just thought I'd pitch in.

Although Bristol are far better away than at home I think there will be a lot more resolve to our team. That defeat could be a blessing in disguise and stop us depending on late comebacks. Us to win 4-1 and the first scorer to be the most unlikely player bar Dieng. Who is due one?

In true qpr fashion I cannot see anything other than a loss or draw today followed by defeat next week at the baggies to suck any positivity from the season so far !
On paper we should be smashing them to pieces today to show some intent but I fear a slight lull in the promotion push this week .
Fine margins get you moving up this league and the last couple of seasons have proved you don’t need to win every game to be there or thereabouts the playoffs come may so I will try and keep positive but a win today and I’m fking Alvin it large
