Derby docked another nine points 10:16 - Nov 16 with 20435 viewsthemodfather

It took it’s time but the EFL seemingly have taken full action over Derby and the ongoing things there . Won’t help Wycombe but Derby are in big trouble now .

Shouldn't it be a lot more than nine points?

Three breaches, tried to cover it up.

Birmingham were docked twelve reduced to ten after admitting the offence.

feel for the proper genuine fans but we've been there, Luton, Portsmouth, Palace etc... Once they get their house in order they can come back stronger.

The 12 point deduction going into administration looked like it was going to relegate them so a further 9 point deduction for three years of cooking the books means there really isn't any punishment at all....but hell be bound if you spend too much of your own money!

What a shitshow.

They actually had a fighting chance of staying up with just the 12 points, was a big ask but wasn't impossible being 9 points off 4th bottom.

The 9 points now kills them

Remember it's still "Wayne Rooney's Derby County" that are being relegated,,,, the press and TV have conveniently forgotten this.

If it's US money that pays the £50m needed to clear all their debts, they'll want the granny shagger to stay. He's famous over in the Land of the Free, apparently.

Nobody sensible is going to pay £50m for a League 1 club with old, shi te players particularly given the issue with the ground. It's going to be interesting to see how long the administrators keep taking the money.

Energy from the football authorities? They spent it all trying to understand your club finances and work out on which planet they seemed reasonable.

Given the extent of this surely Wycombe must finally have some kind of case against the EFL for their relegation last season?

Never knowingly right.
