If rumours are true, it is unlikely that he will be at R's next season. He has been a rock-solid player for us and his appearance record is "out of this world". Yes, he has made the odd mistake, but his form is very consistent and we will miss him in the back three next season.
I trust the club has already lined-up a replacement, but his shoes are huge to fill. I cannot think of anyone that comes to mind to play on that left-side - really difficult hole to fill.

Should be said that so far this is just throwaway comments on Twitter, where all you have to do is make something up, say "Roderick" or "Edward" told you, and have a load of kids hanging off your every word.
However, he is out of contract, and he can officially talk to clubs outside the UK in five week's time.

i mean, this sort of thing is what forums exist for, but ok.
You can say 'gossip', but a player who ha splayed about 80 consecutive games is out of contrac in the summer and there is no talk of renewal is a bit more than 'gossip'. There's absolutely no chance the club didn't offer him a new deal last summer, so something's going on, sadly. |  |
