Tea all over the laptop watching Jojo and Chair trying to jog back onto the pitch at full time. I look exactly like that when I get out of the van after market and try to jog into the house

Been waiting for this all day. Didn't disappoint. Great write up. Glad you enjoyed the dominators performance as much as I did. Love that guy!

You're absolutely right about Sanderson but honestly which is worst or more dangerous, the full-blooded hack which could have broken a leg or sticking your head into someone with minimal contact? Especially as the hack is the initial foul! Every time I see the retaliator punished more severely than the instigater I think referees get this wrong!

I don't think we can say the referee gets it wrong. By the letter of the law he got it right. Whether we agree with the law is a different matter entirely

Something special was brewing last night and the perfect twist in the tale.
It was players and fans in perfect harmony for the common cause. Special night and as good they get at HQ!!

If he’d blown up for the original shove by Sanderson, that would’ve stopped the crap that followed it.

As usual a good post here stowmarketranger ,there is no justification for not getting on top of it immediately.
However its across the board and I need to add the stupid offside rule that is in existence today.
I watched multiple games this weekend and the linesmen refusal to raise the flag contributed to several dangerous collisions ,last ditch tackling etc when the play was clearly offside but no flag.
I know its the new rule but for the love of God flag it immediately before someone ends their career for nothing

Yeah I know it's the rule and referees hands are tied but at the very least is their nothing to stop them sending both players off? Surely that tackle was violent and reckless and designed to solely hurt the opponent?

I think i've used the phrase 'one of those nights' about 47 times to describe Wednesday at HQ.

we can all remember them and it's those nights that make us love our club and the utter dump it resides in!

great report and extra points for Futurama reference; Kif would be proud of you!

then last night bumped into another sufferer in one of my locals 75 miles from HQ; all is good with the world until Saturday

And Bowler at the end for the attempted murder of Luke Amos.

Arguable.
Don't think James could have complained if he'd got red, instead of yellow.
Sanderson's reaction was dumb.
As Cluve said, even Favin Ward can spot a haircut like that when he nuts an opponent.

It wasn't a shove and if he had given it and they had scored from the fk - all happy?

Just this once can we NOT lay the blame for that one at the ref.

We've been here before and discussed this before, but this is the 1st line in the offside law and as we found out when I researched it, its been there for ever.

"It is not an offence to be in an offside position"

It WAS reckless - hence the yellow card.
