Why did Manning handle it ? No certainty it would have led to a goal
Why didn't the ref or linesman spot the clear push on Downes for the third goal ?

It just seems to me that the “bigger “ the club we play, especially with a big name manager the less we’re going to get given for us and their indiscretions are overlooked as “letting the game flow”. It’s sickening. But we have to stand up for ourselves too. An in your face captain would be a good start.

Each time I go to Bedd - au........................

He reffereed well for the most part, then dropped a couple of howlers, the elbow on Downes, the blatant 2 hand push on Downes again immediately prior to the equaliser, I didn't think it was a penalty at the time, but after seeing it on the highlights, i can see why it was fiven, however I'm far less sure it would have been awarded had it been the orher way around. Not sure on Lowes challenge on Cabango, as not seen the replay. Poor tactical management by RM for me cost us all 3pts.

Seen the elbow, can't get over how that was missed! Uses it as leverage and then the sharp move towards the head.....thatvwill certainly be picked up in the next few days for sure.

There was certainly a hatchet job on Cabango, bad tackle from Lowe but it was just a yellow. I noticed that Solanke put one on Cabango just before the end of the first half, I now realise what the plan was with Cabango.....Moore becomes more effective once we lost our big guy at the back, seems like it was the plan.

They certainly are a team who can mix it up and did so once they went a goal down.

I have repeated myself a lot lately after games that it highlights what we need even more, stated we need a creative 10 and a defender...make that a defender who has a bit of height aswell, seems that Harry Darling is going to be priority no 1.

Losing Cabango before Moore came on cost us for me. We needed a physical defender on the pitch at that time. Cabango would have gone a long way to nullifying Moore, matches are full of if's and buts.

Yes, rich Russian owner, otherwise they'd probably still be in the lower leagues. Either they or Posh are the smallest club in this division.

Difference is they are being bankrolled.
We aren't.
Imagine where we would be if money were no object last January ?

Lowe on the field, with Moore and Solanke as back up ?
We have Piroe and Obafemi, but when the time comes to change we have Joseph.
Not exactly a level playing field.
Fulham another example of a team not competing in the same financial ball park as us.

I’m still sticking with a complete lack of strength in depth.
Fulton and Smith especially.

When we came down, we had to sell to reduce the wage bill.
How come they spent big in the EPL and are still spending big now ?
Without their rich owner they would crash and burn.

We were saddled with players on huge wages who were signed in a futile attempt to cling to the PL. I remember it a common misconception at the time that there would be a reduction built into their contracts should we be relegated, but alas it was incorrect.

Bankrolled possibly or maybe the players weren't on such high wages with them as they were with us. I remember Jenkins (I think) saying we always had to pay more in wages because of our geographical location. Ayew always gave 100% but he didn't half cost us financially.

Makes sense.
Geographically I guess Bournemouth is a lot better located to attract players, especially those based in the southern half of the country

Not sure what you are getting at.
Our forwards had worn themselves out and we had no one of suitable quality to replace them.
Joseph seems okay, but he is no Piroe or Obafemi atm

Or the pot being more wisely spent, not sure if that's the case, just putting it out there. We had players like Montero draining us for years without barely kicking a football.
