Huddersfield were in the Prem in 2017/18 and 2018/19 so have just finished 3 seasons in the Championship with last season being the final one they receive a parachute payment.

Like many clubs the parachute money is factored ie borrowed against.Will appear on interest payments in yearly accounts.it’s usually around 8 % as they used to say robbing Peter to pay Paul.Huddersfield had spent theirs after they got relegated as their new owner said when asked at a fans meeting “what about the parachute payments” he replied it’s all gone.
