Very good of him to contribute and all that but he does seem a little too cocky for me

Haha, I work with him, he's sound, it's tongue in cheek I promise.

We have a good record against Watford over the years, but this is a tough one for us, as we just can't tell which Rangers will turn up. Was hoping that Sarr and Joao Pedro were sold this week as they have the potential to rip us to shreds. Few beers beforehand needed to steady the nerves for this one.

Toughest test yet. First away game for me this season. Only went to Peterborough and Bournemouth last year they were fun..,.

Poll: Now it’s slightly clearer cut who do you want as manager ?

I think/hope Pedro is injured.

Any chance we might hear this old chestnut?

“As his head is not in the right place we thought it best for Ismaïla (Saar) and the rest of the players that he didn’t play today so we fcked him off”

Sold out, noisy away end? I think we all know the drill by now.

It would be nice for this parachute payment promotion racket to be broken soon. It’s not good for the game in general, the Championship or the Premier League.

I’ve nothing against Watford. My best mate supports them. But be nice if them and Norwich didn’t keep collecting the £150m from the Prem for just being there, and then being rewarded following relegation with a £40m advantage the year after in the Championship.

Life is all about hope and that but I remember the Christmas 2007/08 period when we were struggling with life under De Canio yet to kick into groove and Watford were at the top of the table, and everyone went there expecting us to get battered and we raced into a 3-0 first half lead before eventually winning 4-2.

Hope is eternal etc...

We actually rested players that day as well because we had a big six pointer at home to Leicester on the Monday. Ended up winning both games and never looking back.

"We have a good record against Watford over the years"

I'm fairly sure not in the last ten/twenty years though, certainly not at Vicarage Road. Last time I remember us winning there was during our Championship winning season.

We should have brought back Adam Bolder for the League Cup game against Charlton as well.

We beat them there 2 seasons ago - Charlie scoring his 50th then Albert Adomah at the death.

Behind closed doors though so easy to forget!

Ha totally forgot that one but yes recall the Adomah winner and me jumping around the living room!

I think I am just scarred by late 90s/early 00s games where every time we turned up there we shipped 3 goals.

Going again tomorrow, more fool me...
