Anybody remember this guy?

Apparently he was at the club from 2011 to 2016 as a transfer market consultant / scout but I have no recollection of his name!

Just came across him on an Italian football video where he briefly mentions us winning the Championship.

Part of the weird and wonderful cast of characters that hung around the club in Paladini's days, entirely out of the goodness of their hearts and for no personal gain whatsoever of course. He's in the background on The Four Year Plan a lot, hair looks like he's had quite a serious electric shock.

Cheers! Yes I assumed he was a Paladini pal.

I swear to God there must be 1,000 retired Italian men who have a CV that looks exactly like this. Only surprise is Siena aren't on there. The same clubs crop up over and over again. If you find an Italian man who hasn't managed at least one of Lecce, Genoa, Palermo and Catania you get a special medal from the government.

Mention of Jaconi reminds of the best football book I've ever read - 'The Miracle of Castel Di Sangro'. If you've not read it, I thoroughly recommend it.

If you thought QPR was mad......

Superb book!

I still say every time we lose: 'The season is long and hard.'

Still makes me laugh that the author, who barely knew anything about football before he started the book, was lecturing the manager half the time about who he should pick.

Bare bones.

Thought I read somewhere that that book was not entirely true to life, some artistic licence was involved?

But anyway, still a great read.

I never got why there were so many paladini lovers out there? He ruined the club internally.

Poll: Now it’s slightly clearer cut who do you want as manager ?

I always wondered why Luigi de Canio never got another run out for us, anyone who managerial career includes us and Pisticci is in a pretty elite group.
