Perhaps the club as a business have to notify the relevant authorities like Companies House before an announcement. |  |

In all fairness, it's nice to see the Trust providing proactive updates to fans on departures from the Club. The debacle in the Summer re Julian Winter was embarrassing, so at least some lessons have been learned. I've never heard of Sam Porter, and doubt he played a role in the day to day running, but we have a right to know these things.
On a separate, but related note, I've found the Club's comms beyond the social media memes to be pretty crap for the last few years, and particularly this season. For example, the Club is charging supporters to see an Academy Game in the 4th Round of the FA Youth Cup. No explanation as to why this is the case, so it looks like the Trust has had to come in and fill in the gaps left by the Club with this post on Twitter/X:

There is a football myth whereby people become rich because they play golf and do dodgy dealings we the populace do not fully understand. Things like "hedge funds" whatever they are?.
I have no doubt that Levien and Kaplan have worked hard. Their backgrounds probably meant hard work led to big returns. They have employed Coleman because he too is a grafter.
They loved Huw Jenkins and Mr Morgan because they too grafted hard to built he club from a deficit and no assets other than Roger Freestone's contract. Those that did not work hard or take risks resent those that make money and tale risks.
The fans did not understand risk. This is why the Fans were left lumbered with 21% of a club with a turbo high risk. £21m became £5m with relegation. When I told the fans about this on another forum I was told "they were not in it for financial reasons". | |
