Oldboy Posh Matt Smith has 23 goals in L2 this season.
He has 40 goals in 95 appearances for them.

Examples here:

As you can see, they are all Taarabt amazing dribbles rounding the keeper, curlers into the top corner Buzsáky style, accurate tight shots like Clive Allen as he puts the afterburners on ala Fereday.

Stay away from drugs kids, they are bad for you.
Just say no Zamo.

Good shout

Was under rated by others and also by ourselves

Came on, tactics changed, pump it up to the big man and on a reasonably regular basis, he would score a goal.

I don't think we massively appreciated him whilst he was with ourselves.

A centre forward who not only held the ball up reasonably well, but also scored centre forward goals, very often with his head.

A number nine that scored many more goals than one a season - did not know they existed anymore.

Got 21 goals in 92 appearances for us , but over half were as second half substitute and when in our team in 2017 to 2018 season when in our squad we had

Eze
Washington
Mackie
Sylla
Bright
Freeman
Chair
Luongo
Smyth (Paul)

Was top scorer with 11 goals

He was effective at his job

We will always have his pirouette turn to take a young James Maddison (I think) out of the game.

Amazed he recovered to have the career he has had.

I liked Matt. Thought he always put in a shift and scored some very important goals for us. 21 goals in 92 for us with a number of those appearances off the bench.

Never knowingly right.

Knows where the goal is and could do a job back in the Championship on a pay as you play deal I reckon.

Am sure he would be no worse than either Dykes or Frey and probably would still score mo- re goals than either of these two.

Forty goals in last two seasons in league two - would Dykes or Frey get more than this at that level.

As said was unappreciated here - I felt.

Love this mythical notion that professional footballers would be happy with a pay as you play deal...

A late bloomer - 23 is by far the most goals he has scored in a season, even at Salford City.

Caught two there, too easy.

The problem with Matt Smith was that whenever he was on the pitch we switched to Matt Smith ball (whacking the ball in the general direction of Matt Smith).

Is he finding this new fountain of goal scoring youth because he's also a time lord?

Never knowingly right.
