I was under the impression his contract was already for four years anyhow.
But his salary must have been ramped up as was signed to be in the development squad and if the contract has been extended also, then that's very fine work. Keep this guy for as long as we can !!
Comes across as a pretty grounded 18yo and futures looks bright. Fingers crossed he keeps developing at the rate he is as he'll be some player (and sale) soon enough.

Excellent news. And remember everyone, "every day is a new start." I think that's my favourite so far.
Kolli & Dunne in talks about new contracts allegedly. Interest in Kolli from France is genuine, QPR is his preferred option. All on the interweb, X twitter thingy.

It would be better if the club revealed the contract length, but they're clearly not going to do that. Morgan's potential career path reminds me of Eze. We didnt do badly out of his development.

I was thinking about the commonalities between them both myself. Way, way too early to be putting that kind of expectation on Morgan but as mentioned above, he's definitely got the ability, is demonstrating a good work ethic and seems like a decent lad.
Interesting how some kids released by youth setups at clubs like Arsenal or Spurs realise their next move might be their last in professional football and get their head down and learn their trade. Also interesting how many don't - might be my bias but it seems like a lot of Chelsea academy products seem to think it's all a bit beneath them...

For our colonial friends, the new version of R&R is Rendition and Redaction…maybe we have adopted the same approach and the orange jumpsuits will arrive for new loanees.
Those possessed by devils, try and keep them under control a bit, can't you ?

Great news but obviously was very necessary

No chance at all we would have signed a kid who had just been released by another club and given them a four year contract.
He’s been rightly rewarded now for stepping up to first team regular so quickly and brilliantly.

Lovely stuff, and well deserved. Hopefully they can get deals over the line soon for Dunne and Kolli. And even tell us, that’d be nice.
Given where we are now I think these 3 deals would be better than any new signings (maybe LB aside).
Sure there are still plenty “sign a f**** striker” loyalists out there who will explain otherwise, but looking around league at the cost of players moving this month (that lad at Luton, Taylor?, has barely played a game above L1 level has just gone for £3m to Huddersfield) I highly doubt we will see anymore than one in, and that’ll be our final loan spot.
