Two very likeable players absolutely stunning Hull city - didn’t put a foot wrong and great subs

Really enjoying this and there’s some strong strong signs for future

Poll: Would you rather win league cup or survive?

Totally agree. What I find amazing is how our 2 young strikers come on as subs and totally change games....

There was a time when you looked at our bench and though oh no..... but now these boys are making an impact and what a great place to be

Saiko is just lovable, if there was any player that the whole fan base want to succeed is him... that goal was wonderful for him, and at the end it was a joy to see the team celebrating with him

There is something quite special happening here at this club right now... and by god do I love it

Great change by Marti. Chair and Kolli were not contributing for whatever reason, what a difference it made when they came on. A risk in some ways to bring on Lloyd instead of Frey, but I guess he thought his pace might work and it did, great hold up play as well.

Saito has got much more physical and adapted to the game since he started, been really good when playing lately.

Great to see!

Very early comparison here and absolutely miles to go, but Alifoe Lloyd doesn't half remind me of Les Ferdinand.

Unfortunately, he sometimes also reminds me of Steve Slade - he's really one of those players with whom you feel the ball's never quite under his conscious control. But he's got guts, legs, and passion, and that's a proper base to work from.

Poll: Keep our 12 game pts return going, and it's a 73 pt finish! Playoffs?

Can’t see that myself, Slade was as weak as a new born foal, Lloyd is powerful as well as quick.

Alfie Lloyd. What a man. Would run through a brick wall for those 3 points today. When he won that free kick in the last minute through pure guts and bravery, these are the players we need wearing blue and white.

Saito, great finish son and effective throughout his whole cameo. Has a knack of always keeping the ball even when it looks like it's lost.

(Less said about Ashby the better...)

On the slow train back to York for my bed for the night.

They were both superb. Changed the whole mood of the match entirely. That first ten mins of the second half was as drab as the first and it looked like one of those grim scrappy 1-0 defeats was nailed on. Lloyd comes on and he’s all over them and it’s sticking up front. The centre-halves hardly dared go near him.

Saito’s goal was obscene it goes without saying but again was a great outlet, didn’t give it away, got in behind. All the good bits we’ve seen before coming together for 40 minutes of close to perfection.

Some negatives in the performance as a whole but tonight’s not one for thinking about them IMO. The vibe you get off this team isn’t one any of us get to see regularly and whether we finish sixth or sixteenth it’s a pleasure to follow them right now.

These two were great weren’t they ? Lloyd is learning so quickly about holding it up and winning free kicks . You can literally see the improvement every week . He didn’t score but I thought he won us the game in the last 25 mins.
Saito’s goal was an absolute thing of beauty. Brilliant goal .
