Great report for a great evening all in all.
I got pelters on here from certain quarters because I criticised Madsen and Ashby after the Hull victory (others did too but strangely nothing was said to them 🤔) but that was very different . Those 2 very nearly cost us that victory that evening (not deliberately of course).
Friday was encouraging , exciting at times and very much improved .

Yep, a very good night out and a little unexpected after finding our favourite Nepalese restaurant closed, despite them accepting our booking. Admittedly looking like a couple of sore thumbs but the Somali back down the Uxbridge Road may have to become our go to for night games if it results in 4-0 wins.
Good performances all round and a transformative three behind Frey. It’s so nice seeing Chair chancing his arm in his new position. I’d love to see it generate him an opportunity at elite level, ideally with us, but one way or another he deserves a decent back end of his career.
Also, what a pleasure to watch these smiley faces running around the pitch, gone are the sulky, chip on their shoulder fckers we used to attract in their droves.

Superb writing and fills in the blanks as usual for us not present at Loftus Road.
Just what the doctor ordered to wipe away that bitter taste from Coventry its all good now in QPR land.
Have to smile at Derby throw in resulting in our first goal we have done that countless times from our throw ins this season just hand it to the other team basically.
A little concern was the couple of wide open sitters Derby missed late on but we were home and dry by then regardless

A good result with some very good goals that should now set the bar for the team for the run-in, so plenty to applaud. However, I agree with the poster who qualified his praise by reminding us that it was against a very leaky Derby, and there will be far sterner challenges ahead. For that reason, for me, this game, enjoyable as it was, wasn't in the same ballpark as the Leeds one.
The next three games v Portsmouth, Sheff Utd and WBA will tell us a great deal. 6 or 7 points from them, with some proper performances to match, and I might lump on for the playoffs. |  |

Sad to say Nepal restaurant closed for good. Was not attracting enough custom so owners closed this and retained the equally as good restaurant in Boston Manor. Real shame as spent some great nights in there post games [Post edited 16 Feb 19:46]

The improvement in form, especially at home has been brilliant in the last 2 months. When I went to Derby in October and watched that insipid performance against a bang average team all looked lost and League 1 was unfortunately looking a distinct possibility. Whether we make a play off place who knows, just pleased that our home form is good and that we are progressing nicely. |  | | |
