But how many times is he going to say we ‘showed up late’ , meaning we don’t start actually playing until the last 20 mins or so? That isn’t just down to the players , but down to him too. You have to have them prepared , in every way , right from the off. It’s unacceptable.
He did say that bad decisions are on him . Fair enough .
Injuries and players missing aren’t an excuse, they are a fact . Sick of the injuries and the players not available continuously at this poxy club. And sick of the players that do decide to grace us with their presence churning out crap like that .

Platitude corner, by someone who's credit is fast running out.
If you cant piss, get off the pot Marti, maybe your ability is now below your perceived worth to the club?
Either that or we are all being mugged off by you?
I don't agree. However, what he has tried with the players he has at his disposal has not worked. The 64 million dollar question is whether he can conjure what will work for us with the limited resources he has at his disposal.

He's just another in a long line of underwhelming appointments. No one knows what they are doing at QPR...and haven't for a long time now. Couldn't give a flying if we finally drop TBH. Enjoyed the two week break mind you.

Another poster that I have to question what you actually get out of "supporting" the club ?

Wow - the wind really is shifting for one or two on here!
I actually have some sympathy for Marti being without Saito, Chair, and Cook - and even the over-rated Frey - though not even his most cultically happy-clappy supporters can surely deny he's been steadily burning any credit he's built up for a month or two now. This season has been a curate's egg at best, if not an increasingly rotten one.

I'd hazard a guess he's probably a long-suffering/shattered/romantic idealist who wants the best for his club but is perpetually let down by them. As I often say (not just vis-a-vis QPR), passion makes you lonely, not least because it often makes you angry and dejected. He has my empathy.

He sounds like another no mark who doesn't go , hasn't for years and seems to revel when things go to shit to me
Marti is not the problem. Something else in the club keeps on having the wheels taken off it. Not sure what it is. It is either going well or terribly with nothing in between. The biggest problem (which I think any of about 5 managers have encountered here) is that something in the way we train, or more to the point the personnel, are unable to stay fit ands prone to injuries even trying to train. perhaps it would be better if some players were like handled like Ledley King, who famously hardly trained so that he didn't get injured in training. Adel barely trained. Yes he was brilliant but allegedly he only trained sparsely once or twice a week.
Perhaps the problem is that they over train these guys?

Bar the obvious recruitment issues
I think the major problem at the moment is that a lot of the squad know they won't be here next season and are just going through the motions.

Here is someone that goes, and went today and bloody wished he hadn't. A 16 hour day.... to watch that sh!te with the best part of 150 beer tokens spent for what...... to be totally and utterly p!ssed off with this toxic club
We have injuries.... ahh shame, we have players coming out of contracts and looking for the next.... bless their hearts. Players have moved on from clubs infinite times, and still put a shift in to get that new contract, wherever it is.... this lot words fail me
If the little darlings don't want to.play, THEN DON'T PICK THEM. Pick the DS team, they may get beat more than 3-1 but at least they may give a dam and try.
There is no way this is "lack of confidence" or "we are safe and on the beach" this is a bunch of total wasters, in a long line of total wasters we have had for the last god knows how many years
I'm so angry at my club right now, over 60 years and I have never felt this angry, this total contempt towards it, as I feel that the club is showing us contempt, and it is wrong.
This platitude "what great support we have, and we appreciate it"....bolloks...... don't insult our intelligence... if you appreciated it you may actually do something like try and compete.... FCUK OFF
Yes I'm bloody still livid....
I hope Jimmy Dunne does move on, because that lad deserves something better than QPR.... we all deserve something better than QPR.....

I still really like and support Marti. In my opinion he is being beaten down by some internal politics we don't see. Plus today he was besieged by injuries.

Nothing. It's just a habit now that I'm stuck with. Don't really care about football in general anymore TBH. I'm just not invested in it the way I was back in the day. I salute all who spend their hard earned on this football club though...you are the definition of "supporters".

But yeah you could be right I suppose 🤷
There is the Irish Sea between me and QPR. I have no wish to set foot in England while it is being run by Bolsheviks...so I won't be getting over anytime soon. You are wrong that I get any pleasure from seeing us constantly lose and struggle. It hurts ...but is soon forgotten. Fortunately for you and a few more on here, you won't be seeing much of me on here anymore - got better things to do.

+4 here is bizarre. Marti has pulled us out of two near-fatal tailspins in as many years. Today was shit, but I saw the XI and I could see that coming - we don't have a fit striker. We've been relying on underdeveloped teenagers this season, and through a mix of bad form and teams figuring them out we've been stopped short.
We the fans have to hope otherwise but Cifuentes is probably feeling Sisyphus had a pretty good job of it, at least he could get that boulder to the top of the hill.

'Tailspins' (or shitshows) that he's also created/presided over.

Name another manager that could have got a tune out of yesterdays squad given we lost our only fit striker less than 24 hours before the game.
Our last turn around came with Kolli's introduction we need that kind of moment and we need Sam Field back
Nourry has to take a lot if not most of the blame for the squad but there’s getting a tune out of a poor squad and there’s what was served up yesterday. Absolutely pathetic in every aspect of the game and this was after 2 weeks on the training pitch.

The injuries have killed us this season but another major issue is our inability to be ready for the kick off and its been happening most of the season. We have given up the first goal and quickly followed by a second so many times its actually embarrasing and that is simply down to the management team IMO. Injuries to starters mean a chance for a squad player to stake his claim and those players should run through that closed door to make their mark, instead we dick around ,fall behind ,stage a late comeback and still lose This season has broken our spirit I feel with so much promise at the start its now a matter of holding on to our place in the division like every other year lately .

Is there something in the Irish water that turns some ex pat QPR fans into manic depressives??
