Thought it was a bit aggy in general yesterday. Mentioned it on the random irritations thread, but an older fella in the upper loft cheesing a few people off by eating his chips at the top of the stairwell blocking the view.
Ignored the abuse and stewards and just stood there eating at his own leisure. Eventually took three stewards to get him to his seat. |  | | |

I was actually the individual that got punched on Saturday. Effectively two lads came and stood in my seat whilst I was using the facilities and started to swing when I suggested they go back to their own seats.
Investigation ongoing etc etc but dealt with relatively swiftly on the day by security.
I was there with my old man so a bit of a shock to find yourself being punched in the home end by a fellow "fan".
Fortunately I missed the majority of the game as a result.. silver linings I guess, watching the highlights back. |  | | |

Really sorry to hear that, I was only a few rows behind and saw the guy spitting at you / someone as he was escorted out. Disgusting.
The club really need to get a hold of this "sit / stand where you like" nonsense, it is becoming ridiculous home and away. A lot of the standing are season ticket holders so of course you want to be able to stand in your own spot. There is zero checking from the 12 year old stewards.
I wouldn't hold out much hope for the guy being banned. The cokehead who had a physical go at me, my son and another poster on here last season in the Loft Standing....was back first game of this and many games since. Despite official complaints and reprimands.
Edit: I meant to say that quite clearly the Loft Standing can be "sold out" but if you get a ticket in the family stand it is simple to just come and stand in it. Most people are fine and you just budge up....but....obviously not in this case. [Post edited 7 Apr 11:57]

I’m in NL row L . So the altercation was about 10 seats down .
I have noticed there are named seats / season ticket holders and lots of different people in them every week . Wierd .
Sit in your allocated seat /standing .

They've certainly been identified and have previous for similar behaviour. My brother is a season ticket holder in that area of the Rail Seating and the other ST holders around us were happy to back us up - a few of them were actually spat on as the guy that was windmilling punches seemed to be keen on sharing saliva too.
Altogether not too pleasant but won't stop the 3 of us from supporting the R's and getting to games. Just got a lovely cut nose & black eye to explain on the work meetings this morning... | | | |
