If we can get £2m for a footballing nonentity like Armstrong then we could get a fair few more million for Kolli. If you were twenty years old would your motivation be getting 20 minutes as a substitute against Stockport County (potentially) or living in Monaco getting paid 5x as much.

if we get a decent bid grab it , since he singed the much i love the club deal how many times has he played ?
He’s signed a new contract recently so we’d hopefully hold out for a decent price. Real shame he’s been out injured for so long as he’d have been a first team regular now.

Our uptick in form came with him being available and taking his chances when presented. If we could keep him fit I think he could very quickly become first choice striker. Unless there is something we dont know I see no reason to sell at the moment

The amount of chat and noise about a lad who's started eight games in his life continues to grate. ATM he can't get through six weeks of football without getting injured.
If he's got so many injuries at such a tender age, it doesn't augur well as he ages. However, given that it's been a consistent source of discussion in the posts above and elsewhere, I wonder if our medical/physio teams have been a part of the problem.

Maybe the fact that he looks like he’s just got off a horse after a 100 mile ride doesn’t help his running action and could leave him more prone to injuries.
I get he’s barely played for us but if you’re really, really good you get snapped up by the big boys before you get anywhere near the first team. I’d love him to stay and see him do well next year but if we’re being really honest about where our club is at the moment it’s difficult to make a case for him staying.

Two goals and two assists in those games. I think that’s why he excites and chat is warranted. Raw and injury prone or not he’ll put either money or points on the table.
Sterling, our largest garner of accumulative transfer fees by a huge way, didn’t play a second for us. Hard minutes don’t mean what they used to.

I'm not sure if injuries at his age are fairly typical. All part of growing up?I'm happy to be shot down by anybody with better medical/physiological knowledge.

I think a lot of people including myself see a very good player in the lad. I really rate him.
AND WHEN I DREAM , I DREAM ABOUT YOU AND WHEN I SCREAM I SCREAM ABOUT YOU!!!!!
This is yet another one who’s a decent prospect but just doesn’t fit into the system we are so set on playing.
He’s not the modern no 10, he’s an old fashioned no 10. He needs to play alongside a centre forward.
We’ve seen him play alone up front and it’s a particular problem away from home, he doesn’t hold the ball up. He’s needs to play facing the goal.
Until this trend changes, it would make perfect sense to move to somewhere on the continent. I dare say, he won’t get injured anywhere near as often either.

He needs to stay and potentially actually have a breakout Eze / Adel style season.
Yeh exactly. Why are we talking about selling or moving him on when as Norf says, has only started 7 games. He has potential, I want to see him do well here but there's this weird cloud around him that he's not really settled. Whether it's his injury record or rumors online, something doesn't seem conventional about his time here. Whether it's his agent hyping him up, I don't know. ?

There's something to what you say.
Sometimes, young bodies that are growing struggle with the physical demands placed upon them to transition to a full-time pro athlete. For every Serena, there are bus loads of Radacanus and Kournakovas.
If I recall correctly, Liverpool held Gerrard back a year when he was on a growth spurt. Owen however, blighted by injuries having broken into the starting XI at 16.
Maybe Kolli's body has been pushed too much. Maybe he's just unlucky. Maybe we've not managed him properly. Either way, for one so young to be that injury prone is a worry.
Very talented player, definitely got it. Shame we cannot seem to harness it.

Yeh somebody somewhere is peddling this stuff and it's seriously unhelpful. Let the lad settle down, play some actual football, and grow.

I agree he doesn't fit the lone striker role but he does fit in as a wide attacker. That's where I saw him play for the DS before he broke through to the senior squad. I know we're overstocked in those positions but that will change.

Well i changed my avatar icon after he scored a couple of Worldies for our under 21s.
Like others, can see the potential in the lad absolutely but like others also, I was very keen on Armstrong from his first few performances for ourselves and he could not kick on.
Hope Kolli has a different career trajectory than Sinclair but he has to do it over a prolonged period.
A whole season for QPR next year and we could have a decent sell on fee coming our way.
However the probabilities also suggest he could be another one of these run of the mill players, who has his level.
If we got silly money for him this window, for me, that's £2.5million plus, then sell now, otherwise hope he performs next season here and we can get more money later down the line.
My hope is he stays with us next season and it's now or never for him then....
