B - it wasn't even a football match at that point. It was just endless delays. I'm in Wimbledon now and I imagine the match is still in injury time.

If I remember correctly ND, weren't you about a year ago getting all performative and declaring that "you had had enough of QPR and would stop going to home games". Yet now, you're criticising other fans for exercising their right to leave early when the outcome of the game was already determined after 64 minutes.

Sends a bad message to a young team and a young squad that has been decent. We werent terrible up to that point. Just poor goalkeeping and defending.
Expected a backlash on here because fans are called fans to back the boys when things arent going our way. And its never out fault ever.
it wasnt a good game but there was the opportunity to back the boys to get back some pride back on a bad day.

I left after the fourth, walked into the front room and saw England run in three tries against Australia, with a nice cuppa in hand.
To be honest, I felt as if I salvaged something from the afternoon and if that makes myself or anyone else who left early because they weren't enjoying QPR for the money they'd shelled out 'less' then so be it, I'll live with the OP's annoyance! [Post edited 2 Nov 8:56]

It suggests the slightest sign of trouble and our fanbase turn nasty. Not.great for me.
But it seems from some responses that what i am saying is sacrilege and i am the devil incarnate. .

I’ve had a season tkt for nearly 30 yrs and in that time ive seen 3 promotions.Basically the rest of the time the football has been shit but each year my season tkt price goes up even though the quality of football remains the same or worse.In those 3 promotion years I don’t remember getting a rebate for being a loyal supporter.Im fed up listening to ex pros / pundits and fans blaming supporters for the lack of atmosphere in the grounds,playing well creates the atmosphere play shit and fans walk out.Rant over. | | | |

Feels like a post just put on here to irritate people to me .

Just felt that a lot of fans leaving when there could have been a chance of a quick goal and you never know was poor, so long left and if fans give up so easy sends the wrong message but been shot down as wrong.
We were 4 - 1 down at Port Vale after 85 minutes and you know what happened next.
Let's all leave at half time next time when we are three nil down !!!!

Leaving with 40 minutes to go with a faint possibility to get back in the game and a young team finding their way, and so far doing a decent job. Keep supporting the boys. We are doing well and it was a bad day at the office but we had periods in the game when we were decent.
No one on here is going to agree with me.
Am looking forward to going on Wednesday but if we are three nil down after 60 minutes then, hope there is not a mass exodus again.
Yes people can do this if they want. You pay your monies and can do what you like, but if we want our team to fight back, fans for me are often key in this, to pick the team up on a bad day and fans throwing in the towel early is noticed on the pitch. It doesn't help. | |
