The mention of ice baths at 3:00am brings home the reality of three game weeks with back-to-back aways (I hadn’t seen that).
I fear this is going to be another truly awful game of football, but with any luck we can be the better of the two lots of dross.
I agree JS might be turning a corner with some of his tactical decisions, but please remember we are only one week on from him picking JCS from the start having not played in ages only for him to be responsible for both goals.
Nardi is a difficult one, because clearly he is a top top guy and unbelievably resilient. You just can’t dislike him and I feel awful for pointing out his faults…but his shot stopping has never been in doubt, it is the fact he is glued to his line. He has to play I’m sure, but I’m also sure he could cost us the game with CHs having to head clear four yards from their own goal.
