Im going to have to disagree sorry mate.. I don't think Burgess should even be in the team to be honest.. very very underwhelmed by him especially after the whole fanfare after signing him.. I think the only player at the moment you could say gives 100% every game is Galbraith.. I don't think Ben has handled the captaincy well.. He attained it after the Grimes debacle and to my eyes it's weighed heavy on him.. but time will tell.. Is Gally captain material? Only those inside the club will know that but he looks the part on the pitch

Galbraith is a good shout give him a bigger roll in the team it can only be good for his sale price as he won’t be here for long the guy is destined for the prem. I can see him at a Bournemouth then even a top 6 team.
Cam I know our defence has had a bad time later but the guy is passionate and you see him shouting, A captain needs to be tough I think Ben was given it to keep him here tbh mate.
To be fair I think you have swung me on my original vote. Galbraith is my new choice .
What did you think of the Stammy call for the roll as well the guy is also a good candidate?
Obviously as fans we don’t get to see much off the pitch would love to have a bit more media in that sense the players from our prem days were shown off more.
If we are near the bottom in January and struggling to get inward investment Galbraith will be gone, if not definitely in the summer. The club may decide to cash in while his stock is high not dragged down by relegation, remember its all data driven.

I like Marco but like most of the others hes hot and cold.. The reason iv said Gally is that he seems to have a level of consistency about him.. He stands out even though we're gash at the moment

Captain needs to be in midfield bossing the game from the middle
We had that before and the majority complained.
The captain needs to be an automatic choice to start, tactically aware, authoritive and respected by the other players but most of all the captaincy must not restrict their game.

Thought grimes was playing at the back
They make us feel indebted
For saving us from hell
And then they put us through it
It's time the bastards fell

He said ‘bossing’ WR😂. Grimes didn’t boss anything.
The captain doesn’t necessarily need to be the best player on the pitch but one who can lead and influence. I didn’t see that in Grimes and sadly I don’t see it in Cabango.
It may suit Burgess, he may raise his game with the responsibility. Likewise Stamenic. I don’t see Galbraith being a captain and as already said above, he’s not going to be here beyond this season at best.

It’s a tough one this.
Grimes! Jesus , still loved by thousands !
We also have “ some” seeing Key as captain when he should not even be at the club
I think that would just humiliate and demotivate him
Well he ain’t doing his job so things need to Change We need a captain who is in your face through the game and at half time and full time Someone with a passion to go with the armband We have none

Not necessarily. Ashley Williams and Garry Monk were two of our best captains over the last twenty years or so.
The issue with Cabango having it was there wasn’t really any other option when Grimes left. It had to be someone who was going to play every week. I think Darling would have had it if he’d signed a new contract.

The only time you see him raise is voice is ,when he’s running over to the ref flapping his arms like a demented.Seagull , looking for a foul when one of our players.goes down when there’s a strong gust of wind We need more

I’m not saying he’s a great captain, we just didn’t have a lot of choice when he was appointed.
I agree with the post above saying undermining him now may do more harm than good. If we had a Roy Keane type who was going to grab Ganes by the scruff of the neck, I may agree, but we don’t.

You’re right We’ve had no real leaders since ash who was magnificent
Agree it would demotivate Cabango if he was stripped now. Matos should have done it from day 1 of his appointment if he felt it needed changing. He's missed that boat so can't see Cabango being stripped now.
Pressure off may help him though to just focus on his own game. Stamenic or Burgess for me, simply because I wouldn't want Galbraith to have that pressure put on him either and affect his performances.
