Premier league, best league in the world 12:10 - Jan 2 with 849 viewsloftboy

Yesterday 3/4 games were 0-0, the same amount as over the whole EFL, it gets more boring by the season.

Nourry out
Poll: Who’s starting between the sticks v Preston?

Scan the Premier League fixture list on any given weekend (obviously there's only about three 3pm Saturday games and about five Sunday ones now, all at different times). Pretty much all the fixtures are uninspiring. Funnily enough though, if those exact same fixtures were in the Championship, they'd actually be pretty interesting. Bournemouth v Bright or West Ham v Wolves for example.

Still, the world seems to still love it.

I love the Championship personally. It's the new Barclays League Division 1.

I don’t even bother watching a lot of the live games now. There are too many live games on now.Maybe I’ll watch a few more crunch games towards the end of the season, but most are just boring now.

There was nothing boring about the Sunderland City game! Watching every Sunderland player putting their bodies on the line & throwing themselves into blocking positions & tackles was a pleasure to see after the misery of yesterday afternoon.

Yes, they were totally outplayed, but definitely worth the hard won point. Once again, Xhaka was outstanding & must be in contention for the Premier League Player Of The Year.

Agree with Terry there. I stayed in the pub (self-medicating after the Canaries debacle) and watched the Sunderland Man City game and it was absorbing. Great to see a recently unfancied Championship team holding their own in the Premier League - imagine that.

Meanwhile Forest got everything they deserved at Villa.

To adopt the no more than one player crossing the halfway line approach was typical of a Dyche team. I laughed when it rebounded on them with Villa score with ten seconds left in the first half.

Be interesting to see the Prem dregs in action - Wolves v Wet Spam. Both teams we could be competing against next season. Might even be a few players we’re competing against next week.

Update: 4 mins - WW 1 WHU 0 🤣
Update: 30 mins - WW 2 WHU 0 🤣🤣
