Was anybody on here at Bramall Lane 20 years ago to watch a makeshift and injury riddled Swans team beat then Prem League and moaning Warnock managed Sheff Utd 3-0?
2 goals by Tommy Butler and a Leon penalty right in front of over 5500 delirious and very loud Jacks. What a day out that was!!

I remember the bus convoy coming out of Sheffield after the game was surreal. I can't believe it was 20 years ago, great times for the club.
Sheffield fans applauding the swans fans as we drove past. Warnock proving what a tool he is disliked him from that day from memory we were without Robbo and trunds weren't we?.

We were on a tram back to some out of town shopping place and the police stopped it to allow the coaches through - it was quite the sight, coach after coach after coach
We had a load of injuries that day yes. Warnock was on their local BBC. radio after the game moaning as usual about their injury problems, the ref, etc. A Swans fan phoned in to say it was basically a reserve team we put out (bit of an exaggeration but we were very much down to bare bones).
I remember their hoolies to our left giving it large before being sat down and eventually leaving not to be seen again. Speaking to Wednesday fans after the game and they were loving us!!

Bonkers how time disappears. Another great night at the Vetch. I was gutted I'd missed the draw at Upton Park but this more than made up for it
I was driving up to Scotland listening to that game, Alan Green was in the Centre Stand commentating. He spoke about the Swans supporter who was a man mountain sat next to him, who had just left his seat. Green said "put it this way he's a good eater", Green hoped the Swans fan did not come back and if he did he hoped to god Swansea win
After a couple of minutes Green said, he's back and .........he's got a pie!
I was there!! Trundle was sent off in the previous game against Huddersfield (2-0 and we fcuked it up π) so I thought we'd blown a potential upset!!
But what a game - incredible atmosphere and pandemonium when the goals went in: all at our end too πͺπ¦’πͺ.

Remember it well. We lost the plot at Hudds. Trunds missed the Sheffield game - then had a poor game by his standards at home against Gillingham on his return which we won 2-0 despite a number of the players not performing to their best. We felt one or two of them were saving themselves perhaps for the Ipswich tie in the FA Cup Sure enough Jackett benched Trunds and Painter for the game at Ipswich only bringing him on after they'd scored. Going home we felt had LT10 started we could have won as Ipswich were not all that but we also lacked any spark or creativity. Fun Fact - Pawel Abbott played in the Hudds, Gills and Ipswich games but for two different teams !!
