Guinness Nitro Surge 22:52 - Apr 10 with 708 viewsmax936

Anyone tried it? just on my 2nd one and I'm impressed, the difference between the nitro surge Guinness can and a draught can of Guinness is incredible, best 30 quid I've spent in a long while

As a Guinness drinker on and off for the last 50 years I taste little resemblance to the original large bottles that I used to sip in Ireland to either the draught can or the nitro surge stuff. and that 2 minute pour is just a marketing ploy to avoid wastage!

Works for me Goldminer to be honest tried it last night only had two cans, but I enjoyed them both I've a couple of the Draught cans here so that'll be the acid test to try them both after one after the other, the surge give the Guinness a fresher taste for me, I'd had a pig of a day yesterday so a little relaxation with a glass or two might have improved my mood , nothing beats Ireland for Guinness though, a day out in the Guinness factory is joyful especially if you're thirsty

I drink probably over a ltr of water with freshly squeezed lemon juice with its associated bits mixed in the water throughout my working day, not so much on a weekend though, prefer Tea

Without question, Guinness tastes significantly better in Ireland—Dublin from personal experience —than it does in the UK.

If you find yourself there, make a point of visiting the Gravediggers in Glasnevin. I’d be surprised if you’ve ever had a finer pint of the black stuff. The Irish stew is excellent as well and well worth trying.

Not tried it yet Max….but have to say one of my favourite drinks at the moment is Guinness 00. Great if I have to drive but make sure it’s really cold.

I've been a massive fan of the pale ales for yrs still am, especially Grey Trees beers, but lately I've been enjoying Peroni in the 500ml bottles at home and more and more Guinness when out as there's not a lot of actual real ale about in pubs so its been Guinness or Moretti.

Couple of posters on Phils site posted about the Nitro Surge device and the cans that go with it and decided to try after my Mrs mistaken bought the cans in Tesco bought the device I tried it Friday it seems to me that it produces a fresher taste and a cracking head.
Although I drunk a couple of cans of Guinness draught on Saturday and I didn't notice a difference, the acid taste would be to try one each after the other and then see if there's a marked difference.
