I live in Cornwall and thought Wales was lovely (dare I say nicer) when I visited (Devil's Bridge/Aberyswyth). I've got a few days off next week and will be holidaying in .... sunny Cornwall. Home, in fact, as limited funds so I will be getting rid of bindweed/onion flowers etc etc in the garden at the rear of the property as that is my project this year to make it look acceptable. It has been overgrown right at the far end since I moved in and as it abuts all the neighbouring properties I've avoided it for 10 plus years other than a quick sortie now and again so now is the time.

Ah, Eurocamp - great memories when the boy was younger, he absolutely loved it. Enjoy, Dave, and New York is an incredible place to visit.

Two weeks in Mauritius booked at start of July. It’s their ‘winter’ then but the temperature will be perfect. Went there in 2007. It is a beautiful island with lots to see. Hired a local speedboat with a couple of local lads both called ‘Vic’, to a little island off the south west coast of Mauritius where we were treated to a chicken and lobster BBQ and plenty of local rum. Out of nowhere came a guy selling trinkets who looked like Bob Marley and spoke like him (accent is the same creole French accent of the Caribbean), and whilst negotiating whilst half drunk an old boy also appears from nowhere with a guitar looking and sounding like Nelson Mandela and serenaded us with Sweet Caroline!!! Most surreal moment of my life.

Meeting Aussie family in Croatia in October.
We now live in rural France, so some might say we're on permanent holiday.

England vs Panama World Cup and a week in NY.; the last time I went there Ground Zero was a big hole in the ground with light beams shooting into the sky.

Want to see the Big Carrier this time and sister is booking a trip to Ellis island.

Japan for 18days with family late June early July....didn't consider England matches when booking which will be around 5am 🤯. AI chat bots currently refining the itinerary to visit the key sights and cities. First time and it's meant to be an amazing experience.

Been travelling in and out of NYC with work since the early 90’s plus numerous weekends etc. I was there in January and I was shocked by how expensive the City had become over a short period of time.
Bars and restaurants now offering payment in cash with a 10% discount as merchant fees on cards have become too expensive for small businesses.
Great place to visit but almost taking the piss. Enjoy your trip and the Met Life experience. The stadium is literally anchored in between major highways and is notoriously difficult to get to.

Happy Golden Wedding QPR 1968.

We went to Kefalonia for ours last year (our favourite island), but thought we'd have a change this year & are going to it's neighbour. Zante had a lot to live up to!

Just 4 weeks to wait!

Doing our annual trip to Porto to go to Primavera. Line up is weaker than last year, but tickets were a steal at 160 euro and it's always loving eating fish in Matosinhos and then having it till 4am at the fest.

Our 12th trip to Porto and have finally caved and added Lisbon on to the end of the itinerary.

Anyone got any Germany tips. Have bought tickets to see Deftones supported by Turnstile in Berlin, and kinda wanna train across to Amsterdam, but don't really know where else is worth a stop

Koln is a decent stop on the way, and probably the quickest and cheapest.

You can also go overnight from Brussels now too.
