Signings seemly coming out of nowhere. Left Back?

Apparently done. Young Crowe is incredibly excited...'i can't believe we've managed to sign him'. Me - 'never heard of him'.

I've literally never heard of him, but all the replies on socials are some variations of "announce promotion" or "i love you Nourry!"

Ah, but they always are - "WTF - what a signing!" - it's all these people care about, signings, signings, signings. I think they would rather we signed 3 players next week than beat Pompey. No wonder they support QPR, we love a signing.

Good luck to him, I was enjoying Kemper, but maybe only temporary that one?!

When we signed Kemper WLS said we were looking to sign another left back so this seems to have been the plan all along.

I hope that one of Cirkin or Kemper can play further forward.

Welcome Dennis.

Well it's not exactly some random guy, he's been Sunderlands left back for what, 4 or 5 seasons now? Regular in their promotion season, was very highly rated by their supporters. On a permanent that's an excellent deal and we have great competition in the left back position now

Two experienced LBs in one transfer window? Wtf is going on! Witchcraft. Cant say i know a lot about this lad but seems to have played a fair bit for Sunderland in their Championship days so seems like a decent pick up

Yes, interesting on the "two good players in every position" mantra. Certainly seems promising.

Being accused on my family QPR WhatsApp of being negative for saying ‘maybe let’s watch him play before trotting out #Nourryball and #announcepromotion?’

Not being on social media has its perks

Ha - that's the debate I just had with my 20yo son, to the letter. It definitely is an age thing!

Released by Sunderland. Very good, probably first choice.

Poll: How is Nourry cooking so far ? 🤣

Surely him and Kemper have to split time? I can't imagine that Kemper signed to play second fiddle, and he's looked pretty good in preseason.

I guess that we can finally say goodbye to Larkeche (feel a bit sorry for him, but such is life) and Esquerdinha (at least on loan)?

Cirkin was highly thought of at Sunderland, maybe Kemper will be pushed into a midfield role

And Bowles is onside, Swinburne has come rushing out of his goal , what can Bowles do here , onto the left foot no, on to the right foot That’s there that’s two, and that’s Bowles Brian Moore

Cirkin can and has played in midfield.
Sunderland fans had a lot of good things to say about him .

Good to know we’ve been upfront with Kemper because going from Captaining your club to suddenly finding yourself on the bench could be a tough one to take.

Cirkin can play centre half as well. Maybe JS is considering a back 3 when he feels it is needed?

As has been said. Cirkin is highly rated and if we stick with a back 4 then he will probably be ahead of Kemper.

Also loving these surprise signings with no leaks prior to the announcements.

As he's been released, I assume he's not had a preseason so he'll be doing catch up training with Lamptey and Kamara.

Difficult to get excited about signings when we don’t know the contract length 😁

Given that Kempet will only make 50% of games due to the clubs shocking physio and medical teams they need at least two in each position
