Just having a read on the Green Signs thread, seems that most people on here have a genuine like for West Ham. I've always liked them as a club, in fact would go as far to say they are my second team(i understand that many people hate the idea of a second team)
They've got good fans and are one of the few London teams i actually don't mind, plus they despise Chelsea as much as we do.
Anyone got any other teams they actually like, be it for the style of football they play or their fans, or both.

For me its Spurs & I think last season shows we are two London teams who I think get along fairly well.
My best mates supports them so thats why they are my (2nd Club).
We had many a year out of the Premier League to find what I would call as my fav premier league team & now we are back they are my 2nd, of course! :) |  |

Ajax

Have always really liked Barca (because of Cryuff and Ajax) but recently I hear more and more reports about racist chanting from their fans. Wonder if it's true?

It would be interesting to do a group poll and compile a league table with who we dislike most at the top, and who we don't mind at the bottom. For me the team I hate most is Man U, followed by Liverpool, then Norwich. Don't mind Man City, West Brom, Spurs. Totally ambivalent about Chelsea and Fulham, although clearly that marks me out as a wierdo. Not keen on West Ham - mostly because a West Ham fan nicked 20 quid off me at work in 1985 - it still hurts when I remember it. |  | | |

Although some of their fans give it the "alwight guv, salt ov der erf, we won the world cup, blah blah blah" I don't mind west ham.
I went to the East Ham College of Technology for a couple of years during the late 80's so would sometimes go to an evening game when there was one on. I did get 'banned' from going though as they never won when I went!

AFC Wimbledon you gotta like. Share a similarity to them over the years whilst we somehow kept our heads above the water they didn't but took matters into their own hands once it all went to sh*t.
Everton, Southampton. Majority of Wet Spammers wanted Bolton to stay up I seem to remember so they can Bollocks off.
Don't actually mind Fulham either to be honest. Far too irrelivant for way too long to have built up any rivalry.

I like Man City solely because they're stopping Man Utd and Chelsea winning things.
Lower down I grew up watching Scunthorpe and Grimsby a bit so I'm fond of both, Grimsby more than Scunny though.

I don't mind Spuds as I have a lot of good mates who watch them, which made the 82 Cup Final interesting. I don't mind West Ham, their supporters are usually ok and not glory hunters. I always look out for the Wycombe result as they and Slough Town are my local teams. I hate CFC, FFC, Luton, Palace and Watford for different reasons and have no real feelings about Brentford or Arsenal. |  |

My one time local team Carshalton Athletic, always quite liked. My ex manager was a massive fan. Had this kind of Brentford towards QPR hatred towards Sutton United which made me laugh, they never used to beat them when their paths crossed.
They even have this ongoing feud and disillusion with their club owner who took over and got as mental as to start banning certain individuals(and some life long supporters) from home games for being negative and abusive towards him during matches. In the end after sacking numerous managers, he took up the position himself and shoe horned his own son into the team.
All came about the same time as we had a larger scale feud with Flavio and co and the similarities were uncanny. Used to make me laugh when my manager told me the latest goss from The Robins. | | | |

Toast, my manager used to support Sutton Utd so I went to see them a few times. Was kind of into it for a while but eventually the rubbish football, and the fact that the crowds are mutants, made it less fun and stopped bothering.

I know quite a few AFC Wimbledon supporters

I confess to liking Norwich  , but only because my dad supported them. Like Brighton too as I'm originally from that neck of the woods.

I like West Ham for similar reasons above and my mate who is a die hard fan and loves his football took me to a game a while ago and always had a soft spot because of him. In turn he has been to LR a few times and is always on the lok out for our results.
Growing up in Tottenham and the like most of my mates are Arsenal or the Yids so dont mind them although find it harder to like Arsenal as they are so bloody pretentious and have a sense of entitlement. Also never been to a game where people 'clap' every goal scored rather than go mental and kiss a fat bloke they dont know like you're supposed to |  |
