At least Thatcher's two wars were legal ones, and she won both of them. Blair's were illegal wars, and are still in extra time, we lost the Iraq one and we will lose the Afghan war on penalties.
You knew what you were getting with Thatcher, regardless of whether or not you agreed with her policies. With Blair, he usually said one thing and did another. Prior to elections, he said there would be no student tuition charges, no tax hikes, no faith schools, be tough on crime, tough on immigration, improve education, help the poor and needy.
When in power, Blair did the opposite and filled his boots with millions of pounds. Can't stand the bloke or his pillar box of a wife. Hope it won't be long before he's pushing up daisies.
All UK political parties are the same now. That's why I still vote for Dave Sutch at every local and national election. Although he's been dead for 12 years, he's still got better policies.
