I don't want to sound like a nob, but those are some big stretches you've made to those conclusions from a pretty vapid statement

You sound like neither a nob nor a knob.

Poll: QPR to finish 7th or Brentford to drop out of the top 6?

Interesting phrasing saying 'remaining transfer in and out' indicating that we'll have all our business done this week.

But...i don't think TF is that particular with his tweets and there is no way our transfer business won't drag on until deadline day!

"stadium moving well"

In what way? Have they made an actual offer for any of the land yet?

Ground sharing with Luton? Seems unlikely.

Possibly the stadium is moving because there is land heave or subsidence?

Waste of money that, new plan is to put doubly padded cushions in the executive seats and call it a job.

Quality of the pitch & coaches far more important. And cheaper.

So we won't fight 4 residents and a dog over Warren Farm, but we are happy to fight Car Giant?

Less hot air please TF, we'll be happy with a new signing and some resolution to the Remy/Adel situations for this week.

Stadium and training stuff can wait until you have real news.

Car Giant don't want fighting. They've told QPR they're happy to move if a suitable alternative site is found for them and a fair price is paid for the land. QPR have never made them an offer.

It's amazing how much hot air can be generated off the back of 140 characters.

Dont they have to get planning permission first, you dont buy a massive site unless you know what you are allowed to build on it. Land purchase is near the end of the process surely

The site is part of a regeneration scheme around the rail hubs, and the ground will be an integral part of the master plan. It is not like a normal planning application, so no they don't need planning permission first as such. The regeneration, including the ground is backed by all the local councils and Boris.

compulsory purchase order , then appeals more appeals then a few more appeals
see you in nrow p of the new ground mid 2019 if we are lucky

also being old building id imagine a shed load of decomtamination to be done for asbestos etc which wont help things
new access road to be put in
car giant kicking up a stink for a few years as unlikely to find a decent new site for them
Crap Site in the first place and doomed to failure

I was at a meeting last Friday at Cheltenham racecourse where we're building the new stand, the cost is £45 million (LOL).
That's one stand not four, work the figures out then say to yourself, "who's funding our so called new ground"

You'd shit yourself.

Guffaw

New ground my arse.
