After leaving the ground last week feeling dumbfounded and suicidal. Yesterday was magical. What a performance. The atmosphere was superb. I felt so proud of the tesm I was still in the ground 15 minutes after the final whistle singing cheering and laughing and high 5ing people around me.
Let's hope we can go to Charlton and consolidate yesterday's win.
I am surprised that more is not being said about that foul on Smyth by Grimes at 0-0. In the Lower School End I was livid; it looked stonewall. Now I have seen it quite a few times on replay, I am even more sure.
Yet, some on here suggested it would have been "soft" and ITV didn't show it in their highlight reel.
So what am I missing?
Smyth did not initiate contact, Grimes certainly moved towards him and took him out; clear cut, surely?
