Not just as a result of the debacle of last nights "Pro Boxing Fight" but more in general with how the quality and integrty of Professional Boxing has nose dived over the last 20 years, it's been so refreshing to have UFC enter the ring!
Apparently, it actually started 30 years ago, but I'd suggest it's come to the fore in the last 10 years, if not slightly more.
The point is, that it's a brutal sport, whereby the partipants have a much higher level of comabt knowledge and are much more capable of taking "shots".
In summary, a much better viewer experience (except for the wrestling) and whilst I don't condone violence, I love to watch a good fight.
Speaking of which, looking forward to watching the Jon Jones fight, in a bit.
Usual caveat. Fighting is bad, violence is not the answer, please don't cancel me. |

I've tried my hardest (2 minutes) but couldn't find the original thread from scrumpy jack (which was a classic, so feel free to revive it, if you can find it) so I've been left with no choice but to start a 2.0 version.
Full disclaimer, it's just a harmless piece of fun, no offence intended, please don't cancel me!
So, if you had to take one of them out for a coffee and a toasted cheese and hand sandwich, who would be the lucky recipient, and woud you invite them back for some more coffee, afterwards.

Avoid. Utter sh#te. The plot and dialogue are horrible.
Just rewatch the first one again. It's the same movie, just a lot better. |

Just watching Blackpool v Northampton on Sky + and seeing even at 34, Jordan Rhodes still got pace, lays ball on well and proper centre forward. Blackpool signed him on a free from Huddersfield after being on loan, scored 15 for Blackpool last season, why can't we really be looking at experienced pros like this, also Northampton have Martin Waghorn on the bench again a decent striker at Championship level only signed for them a couple of weeks back after being released by Derby end of last season. |

I found George Sharps interview with Laura and Georgie most interesting.
But, unless I missed something, I still couldn't work out how many promotions it would take for the Ranger's ladies team to make it to the WSL.

This is not intended to dig-out Cifuentes,
More so to highlight how Cifuentes seems to me to be of the Arsene Wenger school of ..we'll play & impose our game..and not the Mourinho school of..we'll set our tactics out according to the opposition..
I get this is quite a broad statement but having seen Doak give a £ 77m valued Left Back the run around last night, how did Cifuentes not see what we all knew was coming & set up the team accordingly against Doak's Middlesbrough?
When I was playing Saturday afternoon football, and you knew from previous season the opposition's Right Winger was their go-to star man, you made sure you stiffened up your Left Side to support your Left Back, basics,
Cifuentes could have put Field, Saito or Smyth in front of Santos, rather than Chair who is coming back to match fitness and has never been the most defensively disciplined left-sided attacker, but Cifuentes chose to play an inexperienced Right Back as Left Back and still did'nt change it when everyone in the ground could see what was coming,
Too often we're told it's our players who throw our Managers under the Bus (and I'd agree Austin & Gray did to Warburton) but with Cifuentes, Ainsworth & Critchley I've too often thought WTF are you doing.
