As I'll unusally in the UK for our FA Cup exit, sorry game, at the 'Ammers, I was wondering whether anyone who doesn't have me on 'ignore' had a spare ticket (and ideally two) that are surplus to requirements. Will be happy to thrown in a generous tip on top of the price paid. Positive PMs greatly welcomed.
Anyone got any idea what’s going on here..is Hamer no 1 now and just putting Nardi in when Hamer is injured? Or is Nardi on the way out. Was expecting Nardi to start v Wednesday as thought he did ok in the last appearance..view/intel?
was very excited until 4 injuries v owls , west ham must surely focus on prem survival and clawing back 4 points to get out of drop zone is not easy , likely they rest players, use reserves / development squad? a cup run is still the dream of many fans , with 9000 QPR tickets sold, new ground etc and i still hope we put out the best 11 we can , our catalogue of cup failures is long, painful and embarrassing . and must end asap imo getting to the ground is fun i hear as you cannot go thru westfield , how do their security know you are not a shopper? so most have a 15-20 min walk, from stations. i suppose the weather factor must come in too.
Anyone suggest best place to stay for the Charlton away match for me and my son. Somewhere handy to get back to after the match, thanks. Will be flying in and out of Heathrow.
Leighton James always scared the wotsits out of me when he played against us, flying down the wing skipping over tackles sending over great crosses and scoring what seemed to me thunderbolt shots/goals.
Then he came to us.
I recall a home game V WBA where he ran back to the dressing room to replace his contact lenses.
27 apps in total scoring 4 goals
Not so much the flying winger more like a flying wombat
Came across this bloke, Chris Ross, The East End poet (worth following) and watched the little ditty below which I thought was quality.
With a few little changes I've improved it dramatically!!
"I was born in the West End of London. And I’m Rangers through and through You might follow some other team But I guess that’s up to you But I’ll still sing about Stanley And wear the blue and white hoops 'Cause I was born in the West End of London And I’m Rangers through and through.
Now some blokes follow the Arsenal Tottenham and West Ham Millwall Charlton and Chelsea But I don’t give a damn Orient Palace and Fulham I don’t care about you 'Cause I was born in the West End of London and I’m Rangers through and through oh yeah Rangers through and through
Was nice to see Sam back in midfield today doing Sam field stuff, tackling keeping with runners , getting forward with the ball . All sadly missing from varanne in recent months , hopefully he stays there for the foreseeable future .
I don't know what has gone on in the background but this bloke has got real class and he loves scoring goals.
Those two strikes today were top draw. Two footed, good vision, looks around and glides into spaces. I hope he gets a decent run.
His goals per appearances must be pretty high already. Maybe one in three, including substitutions.. He also got got two against Norwich this time last year. I'd like to see him - and Morgan - getting more games.
Very happy with the win but seems quite distressed by the level of injuries. I didn't realise Poku came off because he felt something. Shame, because he looks really good.
