Leaving Wood out, Manning in, then blaming Kamaldeen when it all goes wrong. Won't be missing the clown.

That first half ranks as one of the worst I have ever seen from a Saints team They stitched RM up and if getting rid was the objective then they did a superb job I would issue a fine to every single starter

Well if this ain’t enough to get RM fired l don’t know what will.I think by now we’ve all had just about all we can take of this,we don’t have the players to play this way that should be obvious.A good job they had half there team out and the fact they just managed the game and could of run up the score in the second half if they had wanted so l don’t get any satisfaction out of no goals conceded in the second half as it really didn’t mean much.

Even the players I've scored lowest Andersen and Ashby worked really hard so difficult to score them too low. Andersen really struggling I think but ran and ran and ran. Even screamed out in anguish at one point audible from my seat in the away end. Fair play to him. Two players got 7 Smyth and Varane with PS MOM for me. All the rest 6. Can't fault anyone's commitment. We just need to find a bit of quality from somewhere.

Were we lucky? A bit, but City only managed 5 shots on target and apart from the goal, Field's headed goal line clearance and Wells header just wide from Ashby's careless chest to Nardi were the only moments of real jeopardy. Big call out to Field who wasn't on the line by chance. but knew where the danger was and put himself there to make exactly that clearance.

Can we carry on playing like this with 30% possession and still pick up points? I don't think so. In the last few games luck has been on our side - goals ruled out, long range humdingers going wide (in previous games they found the net), teams that can't score. And we've had an excellent keeper and defence, except at left back. Varane, Field and Morgan have been tireless in midfield, ably supported by Saito and Smyth. And maybe a mention for Madsen, but he does need to learn how to take a corner.

At some point the luck will change back again and although we have players coming back from injury we'll have to relearn how to pass the ball through the opposition midfield. Chair and Colback are the players who can do that and then we will have more possession. I hope.

Cook was superb again, but MotM has to be Smyth for his all round work rate and that sublime moment.

After that dire first half when both teams were strong relegation candidates, Rs raised themselves to a lower mid-table performance. No one stood out for me, but you have to credit Field for 2 well taken goals. Kolli winning the header for the second was good to see.

Paul Smyth also deserves praise. I've always been irritated by his inability to cross accurately or even just roughly in the area where a QPR player might be and his finishing is equally poor. But in the last few games his hard running, good work rate and ability to get the play deep into opposition territory has been invaluable. And of course there are the (somewhat) long throws. But another example of how Rs seen to end up roughly at the level of any team they play.

Strange match, both sides were so poor in the first half we only needed to step it up a bit in the second to win comfortably. Oxford are one of the worst sides I’ve ever seen at this level so hard to determine how well we actually played.

Extra marks for Saito and Smyth for how hard they worked defensively even if we didn't carve out dozens of chances against poor oposition.

Poor game played in difficult conditions. Poor goal to give away - TBH did not have to come out for that - and we rode our luck at the back a few times. Credit though to Wood - put himself about snd looks a prospect. KWP worked hard throughout. Also great to see Sam Amo A get some minutes. We had a lot of the ball and did virtually nothing with it. No shots at all, let alone on target. Our attack is an embarrassment, aside from a flash or two from Dibling.

Fine margins in our favour. That first offside at 2-0 was close and 30 odd minutes to go. 2-1 then and momentum and wind make it extremely difficult to hang on.
Instead, we go up the other end and it's 3-0. The handball that didn't go out way at Watford, was partly mitigated by Ashby getting away with a similar one yesterday.
Good performance all around. Kolli has obviously been working really hard on his game. Very good performance and still chasing defenders all over the place in the final seconds of added on time.

Excellent result and good all round performance. Norwich had 67% possession but it never felt like they were in control. Our defence was very solid, although the linesman's flag saved us twice. Both looked pretty close calls to me. Perhaps lady luck is at last evening things up after another disallowed goal in our last match here.

Possibly most impressive was our forward press which functioned well, with Madsen (yes him) playing a full part. Kolli will get the praise, but I thought the keeper could have done better for both goals. But his work rate, mobility and fitness - still running hard at the end - were impressive.

But in spite of Kolli's goals I'd give MotM to Jimmy Dunne. He's always a danger in the opposition area, but usually with his head. Today he smashed the loose ball home in a manner we've been reluctant to do. And his defensive work mostly against the goal machine Sainz was good. Great to see him getting back to his best form especially after his loss this week.

Of course those of us who've supported Rs for decades will know that just when it looks like we've turned a corner we crash and burn. Oxford will be easy, won't it??
BTW I thought the ref was dreadful

Didn't see the game so can't comment but Yosemite's point is one that struck me. Wood is surely better than Stephens and why wasn't he playing from the start?

I want to defend Lumley, his our 4th choice keeper that we never thought we would need but here we are, his thrown into the deep end trying to play in a circus of a system but that is expected when you put a clown manager in charge.
SR and RM can f#ck right off, absolutely shambles from the day they walk in, they may Gao look like a world class owner, as for Rasmus Ankersen, he makes les reed look like Albert Einstein

It wasn't even that bad, just virtually zero threat.

Seems pointless sticking with the game plan, a pragmatic manager is needed not a dreamer.

Lumley looks terrified at corners.

Nathan Wood saved us a couple of times and did well, upgrade on Jack tbh.

Sullemana = why?

The Chelsea match was all about displaying the incompetence of our defence; today it was the attack's turn to display theirs with zero shots on target.

In the summer, instead of getting a load of goal shy wingers and inside forwards, we should have got a proper centre forward. The fans knew that, but it seems that the people in charge of our club didn't.

(Meanwhile, if there's any ray of hope here it's that we won't be held to ransom for a striker in the January transfer window, because we're effectively relegated now and won't need goals … .)

Though today's villain was ultimately THB, one wonders what this year's points haul would look like had we played Wood from the season's start and not aspiring hairstylist Stevens.

We had chances again but no one with enough skill to finish the few good moves we had It's so frustrating
Could we get Ings back in January or someone with his finishing ability
One very bright spark was Natan Wood He looks like a top prospect
