Same old story self destruct to fall behind by 2 goals then score to give us false hope but still lose .Also commit stupid fouls when we are desperate allowing the other team to burn more time and eventually the clock runs out .
Leeds will hammer us I fear they need the points and are still smarting from last years beat down at LR .
No fun at QPR right now we are sick of losing streaks which appear twice a year now |

Class player ,superb block on a dangerous shot and best of all when he lost the ball he sprinted around and won it back himself .He must be so frustrated to have Paal ahead of him that guy makes Edwards job so much harder |

Sad fact its not his job but he can't do any job on the field. Bad defender,horrible corner taker and any ball slid into the corner and we are tied.
Yang is worse ,caused the goal and almost a second he should be benched along with Paal and Chair IMO.
So frustrating watching us self destruct its hard to see how Boro only have 1 goal it wont take long for the second I suspect |

Manchester City V BM in Lambeau Field WS when Haaland played and scored his first goal for City was the high watermark .Pity there was 2 lightining storms and the halfs were only 30 minutes to avoid more weather.
Last year City were over again ,sold out the 3 games then announced any players who were in the Euros or Copa America would not travel so it became Haaland a few others and young players what a joke really.

What I cannot figure out is why we did not get more strikers in this january knowing we were one injury away from having nobody up top really .
Were they expecting our other attacking players to suddenly start scoring after not doing it since August its really killing us this losing streak.Alfie is all fire and energy which helps when we are leading and stretching teams but when we are losing I think he cannot deliver right now.
Once we fall behind by 1 not to mention 2 we are simply not clinical enough to even get a draw and Alfie is getting taken care of by big nasty experienced defenders without much protection .

Hope he is ok and fair play to the cabin crew they were trained in CPR and probably saved his life .
My daughter was flying back from California 3 weeks ago on a discount airline (Spirit I warned her  ) when some poor man had a grand mal seizure and nobody knew CPR only her and another woman who was a nurse. They spent the last hour trying to stop him swallowing his tongue and trying to keep him from smashing his face on the seats supoports lying on the floor .He lived thankfully but the paramedics told the 2 women the next one could finish him off they take a savage toll.
I was proud of her she was stunned airline staff were not trained in CPR so was I to be honest |

I have spent the most of my money/years going to concerts and after parking and tickets just never bothered with drinks and enjoyed that being almost oblivious to that scene.
However in 2024 I went with 2 friends to see a rock show and they went straight to the bar before we even found our seats.
They bought for me of course and 10 minutes into the show after another round it was my turn.I had to go up to the concourse ,wait in line and pay $45 dollars for 3 beers I nearly dropped dead.
Of course it was cashless and the pay machine would not release my card until I tipped so I dug in my heels until a kind woman reached around and pushed an almost invisible "no tip at this time "button and I was free to head back down.
I missed at least 2 songs and felt frustrated so I let them know I was out for any more rounds .
Lots of people go to concerts for food and drinks I suspect and the music is background noise .
Football is totally different of course its non stop action for 90+ minutes so food and drink become secondary I think .
7 pounds per beer sounds like a deal btw |

Without igniting the Trump hatred debate again but the Europen meeting and backin Ukraine is just what he has been asking for even if the US does not get the minerals.
I heard a superb interview from an English journalist living in Moscow last week and she was very confident in her sources that Russia has only a 9 month supply of military personel/equipement left and Putin is desperate for a face saving solution.
NOw is the time for a peace deal not more weapons of mass destruction IMO |

There is no doubt if he was not already booked that was a yellow card all day so yes the ref let it go because he did not want to send him off end of story.
I wont mention the resulting free kick that resulted in the usual fast break oppertunity that normally happens .
I counted 3 times Dembele went down hard losing posession and getting nothing ,is he just too small or the ref did not give us anything |

Excellent post and like another poster mentioned living in America and living in England comparing news outlets we might as well be on mars.
The poster above who mentioned the ICE camera show has no clue how important and dangerous that job has become.Child rapists and murder suspects who should be locked down are turned loose by sanctuary cities who will not share the information which is against federal law and have to be found and caught again.
The border lockdown has slashed the drugs crossing into America and the flow of cash and weapons heading to Mexico another benefit of the lockdown
Trump is ruthless and on his last term he was given a mandate by the American people to end 2 wars, make America energy independant ,fix immigration, cut down crime, fix the ecomony and many more which he has not much hope of doing IMO .
He also survived 2 assination attemps so shouting down Zelensky wont bother him or his supporters get used to it I suspect |

I have only watched a pretty poor quality video but it looks like he kicked him and also hit him with his forearm following through .
Not sure if it was a dirty violent hit or just a savage collision but either way could have been really dangerous hope that Palace striker is ok. |

Agree with this except nothing is going to derail Trump he is on his last legs/ term but to the horror of every single poster on this thread Vance is going to be the next Republican candidate .If The Democrats run Harris again they will get crushed and Vance could serve 2 terms.
One last but critical bit of information and probably only available to US posters is the fact Biden or whoever was running the country in Nov 2024 approved the use of long range missiles to strike inside Russia from Ukraine .The frightening fact was they were manned and released by trained US soldiers basically meant the US was attacking Russia and thats the way it was read by Russia .
Trump wants peace ,Europe wants peace and I suspect both warring parties want peace so lets get everybody around a big table and work it out forget the rest of the saber rattling bullsh*t |

Almost pine for the good old days when we gave up all our goals in the seconds before half time now its as you say VancouverHoop early in both halves.
Are we not motivated running out or can other teams make better adjustements but either way today and against Portsmouth the game was lost 5 minutes after half time.
Had to pull my hair out again we had a perfect spot for a free kick (should have been a second yellow for SU) and Chair or Paal proceeded to blast it against their wall resulting in a fast break chance which we barely survived .
Frustrating to lose 2-1 again but the urgency and decision making late on was pretty miserable IMO |

Great post we gift goals and do not have enough firepower to overcome those mistakes up front.Getting to halftime level always seem to give us a fighting chance under Marti but we are the gift that keeps on giving today again.
I still think we can pull a draw here but it goes without saying we have to get 1 before they get 2 |

Pretty fair post here but the far biggest reason Americans back Trump here simply comes down to the fact Zelensky has been playing the most corupt president in US history (Biden ) for 4 years and they are sick of it.
Zelensky was in the room back in 2014 when Biden forced Ukraine to fire a proscuter investagating his druggie non qualified son on tape or they would withold funds and he was fired .
Trump was impeached during his term for a phone call asking Zelensky to check out the shady deals with the Bidens but he never once came clean while Trump got crushed .
Zelensky and his wife live in the lap of luxury and he comes over to America and stands in front of Congress (dressed like he is walking his dog btw) and berates the US for not doing enough when they have sent so much weaponry and cash its unacountable and of predictably lost
Of course the US population have the right to close their borders and put America first every country in the World does that.
There is a new sheriff in town half the population loves him the other half hate him but make no mistake after that dithering fool Biden this President is no pushover |
