I read the article about how the draw will work - why do they make it so complicated. All the seeding stuff and then saying that 2 countries from the same federation can't be in the same group (apart form european teams) is complete b0ll0cks! just keep it simple, one team from each pot in each group and away you go. |

It would be interesting to know how much it costs clubs to put on a midweek game, to see what size of crowd is the break-even point especially with the cost of electricity at the moment. |

I do think this is an issue - it's noticeable that players like Kone and Saito, who joined us after a preseason elsewhere, looked much fitter when they first joined than they do now. |

It was a combination of late travel back from Blackburn - some players posted they were at the training ground at 3am on Thursday morning, so assume no or little training Thursday, then short session Friday morning before travelling on Friday afternoon.
Norwich were at home Tuesday so an extra days to recover/train without travel. |

Just goes to show how little the owners at Sheff Utd know and understand about football clubs in this country.
Wonder if they are proposing moving the merged club to another part of the country as well. |

Field was involved in the goal, he picked up a loose ball, played in to Chair and then continued his run forward. Also, Field's cross led to Smyth's volley chance that hit the keeper. |

The challenge on Saito should be a penalty, no attempt to play the ball at all. Interesting to see what went on at that far end as from the away end, we couldn't really see what was going on. I think the pitch has a slight slope on it, so from where I was standing, the ball kept disappearing when someone was near the byline. |

This inequality is exactly why there are questions about should the wealthy pay more tax - the richest in our society are seeing their wealth increase at a much greater rate than the poorest.

Watching the Sheffield Weds/Utd game - not sure why as I don't like either team but it's made me realise that I dislike Utd more than Weds |
