Millwall away tickets
at 21:30 16 Jan 2025

No issues at all the last two or three times I’ve been. Remember it being ridiculous when we got beat there midweek under Warnock but it’s one of the easier away days in many respects. A million miles from what it was even a decade or so ago.

Half a chance Whittaker will be gone by the weekend but that’s looking unlikely now and he played last night so we’re essentially starting a goal down given he’ll score an overhead kick from 50 yards or something.

Still no sign of that Millwall ticket news….

Left Watford maybe a decade ago and the area entirely a couple of years ago. If I knew how to change my username I’d then realise I don’t care.

Take her out on the 15th when everywhere is dead versus a normal Saturday. Box of Milk Tray and some petrol station flowers should tide you over til then.

Not really worth a new thread but was hoping Millwall tickets would go on sale this week as I need to get one for Hull too. Guess it’ll be Monday.

We’re due to play Boro midweek in March. Would be nice if that could be moved to the fourth round weekend.

Loved it. I’m pretty sure the Prem teams would do away with the domestic cups altogether if they could.

Bromley giving Newcastle an early scare too.

I don’t think anyone has said that. The stats are going to put him on teams’ radars. We had a look and decided he was worth £3m or so and a long, presumably lucrative contract. Nobody else as far as I know did.

The same algorithm we bought him off the back of despite every man and his dog deciding against him after watching him play.

Clearly today was awful but as cover he’s improving (not great but not a disaster in recent games). Not in our best XI but he’s a big step up from Santos.

We’re one of the form teams in the league. Losing with a weakened side at Leicester doesn’t really make a difference to our chances of getting something at Plymouth or any other team in our dross league.

Since the Fox masterclass against Pompey.

No need to overreact. I’m as disappointed as anyone but we were 5/1 for a reason. It does have the look of a game where Madsen is only on to either keep others fresh or hopefully a signal to those upstairs to get what they can and cut their losses. Not his fault but he’s not got it. Not for this country anyway.

You’ve got five subs to play with. Can easily afford to hook Ashby and Madsen at half time with the options he has.

This might (probably won’t) be a game more suited to Madsen. Dani Parejo at Villa vibes. We live in hope.

It’s taken me 20 years to accept calling players a ‘10’. 6s, 8s and double-pivots are beyond me. Hit Les, hit Les over the top.

The tweak in formation doesn’t help his chances. The short term success we’ve had has been with a 4-3-3 rather than a 4-2-3-1. Clearly he’s not Field or Varane’s natural replacement and he’s not really Morgan’s and certainly not a wide player or striker so unless we’re chasing a game and trying something different I don’t see where he fits into Plan A if what we have now is Plan A.

Mutual once the payoff was agreed I’d imagine. I think Rooney agreed to just walk away but that must be very rare nowadays.
