You are probably right for the majority but I daresay there may be a few dual code followers who might be interested . Incidentally there are a hell of a lot of rugby clubs within that 1 hour travel radius .
Just a thought but there are many rugby clubs in the surrounding area who will finish their home matches by 4.00. this Saturday . Lots of those clubs will be in a radius of Swansea that is accessible for a 5.30 ko. and there is potentially a lot of supporters who may be unaware of the late K.O for the Swans on Sat. Maybe the club should be making rugby clubs aware of a late ko in case there are members who might attend but for the fact they are not aware of the KO time.
I said on here some time ago that one of the best ways to beat a defence is by quick fast passing . There were one or two one touch give and go's - one leading to a shot that nearly went in by Yalcoue it left the Albion defenders totally static. Yalcoue seems a natural at instigating these and to me is a very valuable asset coming off the bench against a tiring defence or like he was last night thrown in from the start The other thing is the finishing - which reminds me of the old golf adage - You drive for show but putt for dough. It's the hardest thing to do on the pitch and that's why good quality strikers are co costly. It is one thing to put the ball in the back of the net in a training routine with no pressure on you it's quite another to do it under extreme pressure in a white hot encounter with defenders bearing down on you. I feel it is difficult to replicate the intensity of a match situation in training but to me all our players have to practise the art of finishing under as much pressure as posible to get as close to that split second of precision needed in a match.
I think Matos was too engrossed in the game tbh. I think he was brought off because he was on a yellow and Matos didn't want to risk going down to 10 . He had 65 mins which is a decent outing . He was also up against a big unit in Dike and had his hands full physically . Overall , one or two loose passes but battled away manfully and did well in my opinion.
