Tom Glick Continues DCFC Sales Pitch On BBC TV Tuesday, 29th Mar 2011 10:13 by Daniel J Sewart Tom Glick continued to sell his vision for the Rams in 2011/12 to the media in an interview on BBC TV. After often being conspicuous by his absence, Tom is now Mr. Everywhere and on the season ticket campaign trail. As part of the East midlands 'Late kick off' program on the BBC last night, Tom Glick was interviewed at length regarding GSE’s plans for DCFC. This included a promise to bring in quality players next season to assist Nigel Clough in his efforts to make a genuine tilt at promotion. In the interview Glick made it quite clear that some players coming in would be ‘name’ players as well as others that we may not know but like John Brayford, once they get going will show what they can add to the team. As far as media relations go it was a positive interview and if it all comes to fruition then Rams fans should get excited about what is to come next season. The only worrying statement for me was the reference to using Bosman's to capture signings, in other words not having to pay a transfer fee. Let’s hope that ‘Bosman’ does not become the new buzz word to replace the current ‘Loans’ in 11/12. Talk is cheap and actions from June onwards actions will speak louder than words.
