Squad Back at Playford Road for Pre-Season Friday, 1st Jul 2011 14:13 by TWTD.co.uk Town's players were back at Playford Road for the start of pre-season training this morning and TWTD's camera captured the moment. The entire squad - with the exception of defender Damien Delaney who has been given until next Tuesday to rest after international commitments with the Republic of Ireland this summer - were put through their paces by manager Paul Jewell, his assistant Chris Hutchings, coach Sean McCarthy, fitness coach Antonio Gomez and new keeper-coach Malcolm Webster. Released midfielder Alan Quinn also joined the squad as the Irishman is yet to find a new club, his 2010/11 having been destroyed by a groin injury. The session provided one or two hints regarding the Blues' squad numbers for the season ahead with new signing Aaron Cresswell wearing the number three, Michael Chopra 10, Ãvar Ingimarsson Gareth McAuley's old number four and Nathan Ellington 18. That saw Shane O'Connor move to 33 and Jason Scotland to Jimmy Bullard's number 14. Town's first pre-season friendly is in Holland against FC Eindhoven on Tuesday 12th July.
