Rochdale AFC’s matchday programme – The Voice of Spotland – is back for Saturday’s League One match against Hartlepool United.

The programme has been maintained at 76 pages this season, but with a host of new features to keep you entertained before, during and after the match.

We start with a front cover image of on-loan goalkeeper Jake Kean, who enjoyed a similarly successful loan spell at Hartlepool last season.

Manager Steve Eyre gives his thoughts on the historic cup win at QPR on Tuesday, while ‘Starter For Ten’ looks at knockout ties in which Dale have staged comebacks to win through.

A new style Dale Quiz has been compiled to test the grey matter, while ‘Kit Parade’ goes back almost 30 years to when Dale inexplicably wore white and red!

We have action photos from the opening game of the season at Sheffield Wednesday, as well as a gallery of images from the trip to Bournemouth in May that saw many fans sport their retro Dale shirts.

Sarah Lomas and Matt Turner pen their next articles for the programme and we have an exclusive interview with Chris O’Grady, who talks about his protracted move to Sheffield Wednesday.

Visitors Hartlepool United get eight pages of coverage, in which we reveal a past link between one of their players and a member of the Dale squad.

All this and much, much more will be in Saturday’s The Voice of Spotland, on sale in the Club Shop and around the ground, priced £3.00.
