Former loanee wins PFA award

If having two former Dale strikers in the PFA League Two team wasn't enough, another ex Daley has scooped the PFA League Two player of the year.

This latest award has gone to Jordan Rhodes. Rhodes has been given this award after a fans poll on the PFA website, and after two successful loan spells at Dale and Brentford, he has been given the nod.

Rhodes played five games for Dale early in the season, scoring twice against Rotherham and Accrington, but it was his loan spell at Brentford which really got him noticed.

He played a major part in the Bees' ascent to the top of the league, scoring seven goals in a fourteen match spell in a loan period that was cut short through injury.
