Sneak preview of Hereford programme

Rochdale AFC’s matchday programme – The Voice of Spotland – is back for Saturday’s League Two game against Hereford United.

The programme has been increased to 72 pages this season, but with the same number of advert pages as last year, meaning there is even more to keep you entertained before, during and after the match.

We start with a front cover image of new loan signing Simon Whaley, who made his debut as a substitute in last Saturday’s excellent 2-1 win at Northampton.

As usual, there are the serious and not-so-serious articles, together with the usual high quality pictures from the Rotherham and Bury games by photographer Daniel Youngs.

Keith Hill gives his thoughts on the match at Northampton, while we have exclusive interviews with Joe Thompson and groundsman Phil Collinson, who pays tribute to his former colleague Eric Webster, who sadly passed away last week.

Traveller’s Tales reports on the trip to Rotherham, while there are in-depth previews of forthcoming home and away fixtures.

Of course, there are many new features, including Dale Records, which looks at the club’s best ever wins in various competitions.

Visitors Hereford United get eight pages of coverage, with My First Time reflecting on the writer’s first ever visit to Edgar Street for an eight-goal bonanza.

All this and much, much more will be in Saturday’s The Voice of Spotland, on sale in the Club Shop and around the ground, priced £3.00.
